What an ending! Definitely makes up for the Tek Knight BDSM episode.

Sage playing 4D chess.

Firecracker

someone spiking her system to get to Homelander?

The Starlight/Shifter conversation.

So, this sets up a big showdown for the final season.

But, which side is Soldier Boy on?

Glad they kept the Kessler character. Oh and there was a Negan mention.

Getting knocked out by a 10ft dick has to be embarrassing.

Deck sure seems stacked againt the good guys.

Ok so now I know what Starlight meant when she said something about Huey getting “Shifter VD”. Had no idea what she was talking about until I saw you call her that.

Fantastic fricking episode. Too bad this is the quality we should’ve been getting all season instead of the bullshite we did get.

Terrible season (compared to its own level of quality as precedence) overall but it wrapped up great and set up the last season really well. Which I guess is all you can hope for from the finale for this mediocre season.

I wasn’t expecting a V’d up Butcher to tear Neumann in half but weirdly I'm glad they wrapped up that side plot.

Ashley bolting out of the meeting and V’ing herself up for defense was great. My main gripe with this episode is that we didn’t see her in action once the V took over completely….

…well, that and the whole “Sage knew it all along” thing. I hate that trope and it felt lazy to me. But at least it’s an actual attempt at a plot rather than just trying to scare viewers off by stuffing as much graphic gay shite as they can onscreen.

The Ryan thing was actually good for a change. Glad he saw right through and made the connection that they did to him the exact same thing they did with Homelander. And you could tell that old lady had it coming the way she kept blocking him Freon leaving. That storyline is finally interesting.

The end with all of The Boys getting captured was great. They’re already starting S5 in a deep hole. And I’m pumped to get into S5 with the supes fully and officially in charge. Maybe it’ll have a Fringe-type vibe.

Loved the Hughie/Starlight banter with her being pissed about him fricking and proposing to the Shifter. That was great and seeing her typical woman reactions were hilarious, even if they were fairly justified.

I was legit happy for Frenchie. Kimiko is a total babe and she’s a kickass supe as well. Good for him, and maybe now we won’t have to watch him tongue down any more dudes.

I was wondering if Soldier Boy would come back into play at all. Glad to see he is. Considering he and a V’d up Butcher almost took down HL last season I assume adding Ryan to that mix will push them over the edge for the W next season.

I kind of like shapeshifter Annie. She's brutal.

" it's not my fault that i had to suck cock like a fricking popsicle to stay in the seven".

"and then we fricked to celebrate, and we did butt stuff and he was SO into it"

Yeah Shifter Annie is sexy AF.

How did Butcher get the V? Did I miss something with that? I thought they didn’t have any more. To the point that Hughie had to get A-Train to steal some from HL for his dad. How did Butcher get his hands on more?

Did he get more or did the disease inside him morph to new superpowers? Like the tumor became the tentacles?

Frenchie says “You took V, it will work on you too” when Butcher asked for the virus. I guess initially I took that to mean he took it now and that’s what caused the super power with the tentacles. But I guess it means he has taken it before also. Who knows.

Right after Hughie asked ATrain for it Butcher came out of the shadows and said he took some that he swiped from Frenchie

It was a solid end to a mediocre season for sure. Lots of supe on supe fighting the last two episodes. Glad Ryan had to make a choice. They showed him enjoying demoralizing that director but never followed up on that. And that was enough to finally drive Butcher over the edge.

They finally pulled back from the social commentating to tell the damn story which was nice. I did chuckle when the Deep accepted responsibility for racism.

Seemed like the whole Frenchie story line was pointless and the Sage knew it would all work out reveal was a little cheap. But I was more entertained from these last two episodes than the rest of the season.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned the kids from GenZ doing Homelanders dirty work but thats an interesting crossover. I'm in for the last season.

Did you miss the final two minutes?

It was basically a commercial for the DNC

It’s become absolute shite. Forget the pathetic Kripke political meltdown the characters have all turned to shite. Butcher is a shell of himself. Hughie has become a pure cuck getting worse and worse every episode. He lives in total fear of Annie who’s an insufferable scumbag, the shifter was more likable. Frenchie and Kimiko have been wasted, they’re the only two characters that haven’t been ruined so maybe ignoring them has actually helped preserve them. Ryan is a psycho for some reason all of the sudden. MM has become a spineless bitch boy. Homelander is a joke and totally weak now. Every supe is now invincible when it’s convenient then easily killed when it’s convenient. The positives were A-Train, underrated actor btw. The Peak, he’s just pure fun to watch and
Neuman getting ripped in half was great, she sucks so bad it was good to see her deleted. I liked Sista at first then of course the most idiotic, lazy and predictable outcome ended up happening. It’s just not good anymore

Is he psycho? I actually started rooting for him. What people are doing to him is criminal. He just wanted to be a regular kid. He was totally justified walking away and killing Mallory. If i was him, i would fly to New Zealand and start a new life..

I liked him too but he murdered her for no reason. Could’ve just picked her up and moved her out of the way.

She was about to gas him, imprison him, and kill him (if she could figure out how), if he didn't agree to become her weapon. His dad told him how people kept him locked up and tortured him, made him into a killer. Ryan knew he had to get out of that place.

I don't know if you get this, but Mallory is more evil than Butcher. She was the one pulling the strings. She would not hesitate to end Ryan, if she thought it served her. She had her finger on the button. She stood in front of him, and wouldn't let him get by. Play with fire..

As quick as he killed her he could’ve gone past her or moved her. He could’ve take her arm off or just crushed the trigger button but he decided to murder her.

I may be forgetting something obvious but has Starlight always been able to fly??

GenV kids being homelanders thugs was a nice touch.

Really want to see what powers that Ashley gets. It looked like her brain was enlarging. Maybe she becomes the smartest person alive.

I was hoping Soldier Boy would be back.

One thing that does bother me that someone
Mentioned is up until the end of this episode how indestructible Newman has been. Bullet to the dome…. Nothing. Laser blast to the face from Homelander…. Eyes instantly regenerate. Butcher chest tentacles grab her and easily rip her in half killing her. She didn’t even attempt a head pop. Shouldn’t she just regenerate her lower half like Deadpool or Kimiko?

I missed it but what happened to her daughter. Did Butcher kill her?

I had the same thought about Neumann going out like that. Some very strong little tentacles I guess. I didn’t like it.

No frickin way did she have any justification for being mad at Hughie. I don’t love his character but he did absolutely nothing wrong.

Shifter Annie really was a lot more fun than real Annie. When real Annie was bitching at Hughie about how he loved having an Annie without the depression and issues. Ridiculous. “How dare you love a happier version of myself?”
