I absolutely enjoyed them roasting the mcu!! Vought is just like Disney but on the exact opposite spectrum of wokeness. They are so blatant about it.

Episode 5 certainly made up for the previous 4, not sure about the Ryan angle though. Homelander wants him to be evil so bad. Loved everything about the farm though.

She gave the virus to her scientist boyfriend to enhance it to kill Homelander. The last vial they had was used in the body they fed to the sheep.

Is Firecracker the daughter of Soldier Boy and Stormfront?
I caught a clip from season 3 of the Boys where Soldier Boy was telling Butcher that back in the day hung out with a super named "Liberty" (Stormfront) and he called her a "Firecracker". Sounds pretty ironic.
Thoughts?

No, I think it's more likely that they would have combined to make homelander.
Firecracker isn't powerful enough in my opinion to come from those two.

This. When the political and LGBTQ+hzjc stuff was a sideshow to the main story it was awesome.
Now it is the centerpiece of the story.

Watched 4 and 5 yesterday. Better than the first three, felt like less unnecessary stuff and not as much heavy handed.
But man...the work that Annie had done...so bad. Her cheeks and you can see where they had to use makeup to try and not make her top lip look so puffy. Why do women do this to themselves? She was so pretty.
Does Firecracker even have powers? She's done a sparkler snap once and seems like that's it.
The whole sequence with hughie's dad seemed pretty pointless.
I want to see more of Jeffrey Dean Morgan

I think it was a way to introduce the mom, who likely won’t be anywhere near as a purely good guy like the dad.
