No love for the new series produced by the Duffer Bros?

We're only 2-3 episodes in (can't remember how many we watched yesterday), but it's been great so far. Alfred Molina, Geena Davis, Bill Pullman, Alfre Woodard, Ed Begley Jr.

She may be 70, but Geena Davis could get it.

My wife and I finished it up last night.

It was pretty good.

There was a thread on it last week but didn't get much traction.

I watched the first two episodes. Not crazy abut it so far but will eventually finish it. It didn't hook me enough to burn through it.

Me souring on the Duffer Bros because of the last season of Stranger Things isn't helping my lack of motivation to watch it either.

I tried but I can't stand Alfre Woodard. She's horrible.

Kind of how we felt about it as well. May be something we finish down the road when we're bored. Definitely didn't pull us in to binge it in any way.

Made it through the first two, but it was a chore at times.

Just felt cheesy to me. All of the acting was way over the top and cliche. Doesn't have any of the realistic feel that Stranger Things had. Stranger Things had the nostalgia aspect but for a sci-fi, it felt very real. This is just some make believe town that doesn't feel authentic at all.

Maybe it gets better and it'll end up being a good show, hopefully so. But it's an underwhelming start.

Finished it. Pretty good story.
I had a thread on it last week. I think two replies.

I hate that the search function on this site is hot garbage.

I finished it over the weekend. I found it entertaining, nothing special, but enjoyable to watch.

Started slow but got better as the series went on.

Not a bad watch IMO.

Watched the first two eps with the wife. I am sort of over the horror mystery thing that streaming services pump out, but this show is helped by a good cast. Will see it through.

Yeah you have to get past the first couple of episodes. It gets better with more happening a few episodes in.
