This show is nailing the true star wars vibe just like Mando.

Another thing they have nailed? Boba's theme song. These frickers just do not miss. Jon and Dave just get it.

Was that the Pyke Syndicate's train?
That was my thought when I saw the prisoners. Looks like the Pykes vs Hutt twins vs Boba is gonna be the theme for the season

This episode was your classic western movie. Like a Man Called Horse. Captured by Native Americans. Then learn their ways and take up their culture fighting along side them. The he goes on a vision quest not to find his spirit animal but to find his stick used to craft his weapon. Saloon fight, train heist etc.

That they did. The music of Star Wars has always been something that stands out.

I don't think a second season is guaranteed at this point according to Rodriguez.

I really felt bad for the people carrying two Hutts. Ouch.

I'm more interested in the flash backs at this point. We knew so little of the Tusken raiders to begin with.
They were faceless killers in the original trilogy and kidnapping rapists in the prequels.
I like exploring that they are different tribes.
Though I'm most curious to see under the mask.

You beat me to the punch. This is so much like "A Man Called Horse" that it's almost plagiarism. I don't mean that as an insult because the Richard Harris Movie is a true classic and good source material to pull from.

I wasn't sure how they were going to take minor characters and elevate them and it's become a pleasant good story.

Did anyone else notice the biker gang in the saloon fight had MC style vests? At least one of them did. I thought that was kind of funny.

But I'm really enjoying the show. That one Tusken was a badass.

Yea I thought the biker vests were kinda dumb, not sure how that idea wasn’t shot down with the quickness. It’s a very watchable show, well done

That would be a disappointment considering season 1 is only 7 episodes and the first 2 seem to just be using flashbacks to setup the story going forward. Not a lot of time to advance the storyline of Boba laying claim to Jabba's throne if we only have 5 more episodes and I think at least 1 more episode will probably be heavy on the flashbacks. I can see the flashbacks tying the story up until Boba's first appearance in Mandalorian after they killed the krayt dragon. Maybe the tusken raiders that helped fight the dragon were some of Boba's buddies, which would explain why Boba was in the area.

Would be surprised if Disney/Lucasfilm greenlit a big budget show like this without intentions to do multiple seasons to tell the story right and not leave it unfinished

Underrated statement

Was watching with my son and looked over at him and said I cannot believe I am pulling for the sand people.

Nothing in current cannon. In the old EU Tuskens in some stories were a culture, and not a specific species and in others a species that looked kind of like humanoid tape worms.
