There is supposed to be a season 3 released sometime this year. Probably after the Obi-Wan series.

You must not follow upcoming releases 2 out of those 3 are getting live action shows in the next 1-2 years

Luke was the one I grew up reading about. We never got his show, the best we get is a couple minutes at the end of Mando.

Asoka, I can see being interesting.

Obi-Wan- I will watch, but that raises some issues. It SHOULD be either extremely boring, or should raise serious continuity issues.

And honestly, at this point I'd just as soon avoid the Jedi tales. The sequels have damn near destroyed what I loved about them. The best thing they can do is explore the rest of the universe, and leave the Force alone. And leave the politics out too (which is something both Mando and Boba have done well so far. It's not about the Empire, Republic, New Republic, First Order etc... it's just Star Wars tales).

probably gonna reveal it as being a female. It's obviously a woman . . . and the character is played by a woman.

Could it be his sidekick? She is awfully loyal and there has to be a reason for that.

No. Fennic was in Bad Batch. She's a bounty hunter.

Yep, filming for S3 began last September-October and should be wrapped up around March. I wouldn’t be surprised if Mando made a cameo in this show.

I'd love to see a team of badasses formed: Boba, Fennic, Tusken Warrior, Black Krrsantan Wookie, and...

..who else? Bossk? Cad Bane? Hulk-like Gamorrean guard? a lethal droid?

It should be out this year. Filming got delayed a bit so Pedro Pascal could do "Last of Us".

The Mandalorian is the show that built Disney +. Until Pedro Pascal quits or keels over dead they'll probably keep producing the show. And who can blame them? The fans love the show and even the folks on Youtube who are professionally indignant (its how they generate clicks) have had to grudgingly admit they like the show.

Okay I watched E2.

This show is stupid, and flows like it was written by a 14 year old girl. It's just a bunch of scenes of people making cheesy threats to each other but doing nothing, combined with plodding, tedious exposition on things I don't give a shite about, like land speeder tutorial sessions or the fricking sand people being a rich and vibrant culture with magic karate stick rituals and "ancestral claims" to the Dune Sea.

The train sequence was cool, but it's in a context of massive stupidity. There are cool elements to the show, but they just get completely gang banged by all the dumb shite that insists on being this story.

And holy frick. Was that some kind of Bollywood dance routine at the end? And that's how the episode ended.
Lol, WTF.

Anyway, be contented. I'm out. You won't have you for me to kick around anymore. In parting, I think this is a lot like TFA. Some of you are going to take a while before you realize how bad this is, but it will happen.

PS - And yes, the ninja sand person is a chick. The one who effortlessly defeats every enemy and who taught Boba Fett how to be a badass. I mean, of course it is.

Give it a rest

It’s a filler spin-off and the majority of the show won’t even advance other storylines

Just watch it for what it is. Something to fill the time before the next Mandalorian season

I'm content.

If there was a semblance of reasonable/logical critique in that rant, I'd take the time to argue it's merit point-for-point, but, no offense, your reasons listed sound like they were written by a narrow-minded oaf.

I couldn't really get into episode 2. The beginning seemed slow to me and a little too expositioney. The train scene had action but for me it dragged on a little too long and didn't seem organic and belivable. I thought the biker bar scene was pretty good. Also Jennifer Beals is easy on the eyes when she makes an appearance. Other than that, I couldn't find much.

I did think episode 1 was a decent start, but I'm starting to wonder if Boba Fett's efforts to operate Jabba's territory is going to keep me interested for many more episodes.

You simply don't like the original SW writing and directing style, whether you think you do or not.

Your track record is in your mind, much like OweO.

And you can't accuse me of not liking it because of perceived wokeness. There really isn't any.

Your wee wokeness willie finally got to rise up and jizz your remote. It must be a treat to be around someone that spends their life looking for things that bother them.

Your distinct inability to stay on topic has me leaning toward understanding why you didn't get this episode...

No spoilers, but a particular one liner in "Twilight of the Apprentice" episode is one of the best scenes in all of Star Wars (assuming you finished Clone Wars first).

It’s been a few years, but are you referencing “then you will die braver than the rest”?

Also, I’m really loving this show so far.

Just after that in same scene. “Then I will avenge his death….”
