Ahsoka: I thought I knew who you were, under that mask, but that's impossible. My master would NEVER be as vile as you.

Vader: Anakin Skywalker was weak. I destroyed him.

Ahsoka: Then, I will avenge his death.

Vader: Revenge is not the Jedi Way.

Ahsoka: I...am NO Jedi.

Abrams and RJ, especially RJ, should have been tied down "Clockwork Orange" style and forced to watch the entire Ahsoka story arc to see how you build and develop a female protagonist that the fans will grow to love. Here's a hint for them, give her flaws she has to overcome and let her deal with setbacks!

Star Wars fans get accused of being misogynistic left and right but Ahsoka Tano is easily one of the most beloved characters in the entire IP.

Just watched episode #2 last night, absolutely loved it. The twins, bounty hunter wookie, train scene, and final shot were fantastic. I love Mando but this show seems to be moving at a quicker pace, I hope it continues its trajectory as I'm loving every minute of it so far.

I actually thought it was a slow pace, not necessarily as slow as Mando at times, but not quick. But that's not a bad thing, I'm enjoying the shite out of it.

After episode 2 I was thinking that it doesn't seem like a show that should only have 7 episodes.

36 mins for Chapter 3. Good episode. 90% of it occurs in the current timeline. The one flashback is a sobering one.

Biggest takeaway: this episode seemingly sets up some potential assests (Krrsantan & Rancor) for a future clash with the Pyke Syndicate.

Also, it will make you point & yell: "Danny Trejo!!!"

The one flashback

Did anyone notice Peli Motto and her three DUM droids that fixed Mando's ship in the flashback when he went into Mos Eisley right as he passed the Storm Trooper heads on pikes?

The multiple fruit stands in the car (speeder) chase sequence was classic. I googled and this trope goes back to Girl Shy filmed in 1924.

Still loving this.

Question: Do I need to watch the Mandalorian (plan on marathoning through it) before watching this?

If you plan on watching it anyway, just do it

Can confirm.

Stephen Root too. Lots of familiar faces this ep.

The speeder bikes looked like Daleks, but I guess it shows a bit of status on Tatooine to have something bright and flashy and not busted and dirty.

The rancor is a male, right? So not Muchi?

This was probably the best episode so far. Only one flashback that was pretty short.

I knew that was Black Krrsantan. Sounds like we're getting Boba riding a Rancor in a future episode lol.

Having the Pyke Syndicate is awesome, and I can't wait to see where this story goes.

Let's hope Dawson doesn't turn her into Ahs-WOKE-A

I liked the episode, but that 35-mph low-speed chase through town… lol.

I thought the pacing on the chase scene was a bit off but the rest of the episode was solid. Things are, to put it mildly, starting to heat up as far as the overall story arc of the series.

We still have a Bryce Dallas Howard directed episode to come and since she's one of Jon Favreau's favorites (along with Rick Famuyiwa) you have to think she's been handed a good episode to direct. I wouldn't be surprised if Howard and Famuyiwa get their own series to run like Deborah Chow did before them.

It should be interesting as we hit the half way mark.

This was the best episode of the season

The groundwork has been set and we now have some direction

The biker with like 6 side view mirrors

The car chase through town seemed like they were going 10 miles an hour the whole time

I had to do a double take when i saw the girl with the gang. Thought that was Jyn Orso at first. Something about her mouth/teeth gives the resemblance to the actor that played Jyn in Rogue One.

enjoying this show thus far, and the theme music is bad arse.

Every time I saw the gang’s bikes I couldn’t help but think of this:

i liked the episode, except the gang and their speeders seem so out of place.

this has been the weakest of the three episodes so far, in my opinion. still a good show, but misfired a bit.
