Excellent six piece Docudrama series on Netflix. I believe it just came out. Highly recommend

I’ve been watching this today as I’m packing for a flight to the UK tomorrow. Probably not the best timing.
My dad was in the Air Force stationed in England at the time. He said a buddy of his had a ticket for that flight but had to cancel due to an unplanned drill. I couldn’t imagine that feeling.

Lived as a student in Glasgow at the time and had a flight back for Christmas holiday 1 week later, intense times in Scotland..great doc that took me back and the investigation documentation was excellent

I may check it out, but good Lord, six episodes? Seems like this could’ve been a 90 minute documentary.

I would normally agree with you. Hell, I just watched a documentary about this ever last week.
This series went to a level I hadn’t considered before, so very thought provoking.

Excellent series. Burned thru entire series in one sitting over the weekend. Great job in showing the toll it took on the surviviors and investigators of the crime (people of Lockerbie were amazing). Loved how characters developed (and left) over the years. Impressive how all the detectives (for lack of a better word) were able to piece together the evidence and bring (some) to justice. and sheesh the CIA.

I watched the first two episodes, and its really well done.
Personally I have my doubts about the official narrative that Libya orchestrated the bombing of Pan Am 103.

Just finished this. It was great but it left me pretty sour. Those guys got off easy. Took a decade to catch them and let one go and the other served less than a decade. I really wish I hadn’t researched it. The documentary really had me respecting Scotland and then I realized those buttholes released the bomber over a trade deal with Gaddafi? Screw them.

No. And I just noticed that I had a typo. It was his fiance that died on the plane. The guy's last name was Noel.
