This episode was really good. The DE&I crap wasn’t there near as much as any of the previous episodes. I was and will be fully cheering on the male Sith killing the woke Jedi going forward. That was incredible

I haven’t watched the series yet, so perhaps someone can enlighten me. How does the existence of an apparent Sith, who has made himself known to the Jedi, not break canon? In The Phantom Menace, the Jedi hold the belief that the Sith had been extinct for a millennium at that point. Obviously the Sith had continued to exist during that time (Bane’s order), but they didn’t reveal that they existed.

Pretty sure they answered that by killing off or otherwise indisposing everyone who sees the Sith

Well, I guess that would mostly solve the issue.

The material that is causing the Light Sabers to turn off is called Cortosis. It was mentioned in one of the Thrawn stories wirh Anakin. They both discovered that the Seperatists were going to combine it with Clone armor for an ambush. I guess it was Palpatines plan in combination with Order 66, but then they shut down operations.

He could have just been a rogue dark force user and not one of the Rule of 2.
If he is, i thought his Sith line was kinda lame, I'm glad they beefed him up, was afraid he'd be a string bean with a lightsaber.
But the mass slaughter of Jedi was awesome so this Episode was pretty damn good.
"Or you may call me a Sith". Very anticlimatic haha.

I literally watched this episode thinking “this guy is the embodiment of the Star Wars fan base. Just Mauling all the characters they hate”
Manny Jacinto was awesome in this episode. Some awesomely sinister delivery and some great fight scenes. I’ve actually liked him all season. Pretty much since he has that really sinister turn talking to Osha when he lets her know that he can tell she isn’t Mae.
This show needed an episode like this sooner. We should have been hunting the Masked Sith all season.
I also don’t think he’s a sith. I think he is probably a local who grew up near the Withc Cult and possibly learned the force from them or somehow got into sith loreZ
Either he will finish off the jedi and the Order won’t believe Osha or they will write him off as a one off.

Finally a decent episode. Not great. But Manny Jacinto did well. Fight scenes were good. Still, what was with all the weird cuts?

I feel like you could edit this show and improve it drastically.
Like last episode people complained about the travelZ
just show Mae getting to the planet later in the episode.
Take episode three and push it back in the season.
get to this episode sooner actually hook people in before the weird lesbians chants.

I liked his character in this, kinda cracked up thinking his muscular arms reminded me of Triangle Head from Silent Hill or a Final Fantasy Protagonist.
Eta: gotta serial downvoter I've noticed.

They also weren't lesbians. You know why? Because you need a penis to enter a vagina to make a fricking kid, so instead of breaking lore and creating force babies, they just enslaved the men on their planet and used them when they needed them. And you know what happened if one of their enslaved men they raped gave them a son? they fed the father to the rancors for not giving the witch a daughter. Again, a feminists dream, and yet no one really had a problem with any of this, b/c if fit in the story being told.
Ya’ll know nowhere in the show did they say all these witches are even lesbians, right?
Since they DO say they were exiled, I assume the witches had no ship or way to leave the planet. Even if they wanted to procreate naturally, they had no way to.

I assume it’s Beskar (like the Mandalorian).
The way it shorted out their sabers, it is Cortosis.

Why not just make a sword out of this helmet material? It would make lightsabers obsolete. Dumb.
Its rare. Even in legends you don’t see that many swords with a cortosis alloy. I think you can use it in KOTOR, or its at least referenced there.
Current canon lists one called the “Null Blade.”
Its good against energy weapon attacks but its not the best overall weapon or armor. It is good if you know you are facing off against a lightsaber though.
Not as strong as Beskar, I think it will eventually fail against a lightsaber after taking too many hits.

It was better but still not what i would call good. I thought the writing for Jacinto's character was pretty bad. Plus everyone could see that he was going to be the bad guy.
It is also clear that Headland made that padowan character her self-insert. All those jedi got killed quickly and then this young girl kicks Mae's (who has been killing jedi masters) arse and holds her own against the sith lord. Then he calls her a loyal apprentice or some shite. Shout out to big Harvey.
This was the best episode they have had. But its still a lot of cringe.

They made it pretty obvious the two “mothers” were lovers IMO
