I think the actor playing Sol is doing a pretty good job. There have been some really well acted moments. I think about the subtle look he had when they bring up the fact that Mae wasn’t in any of Osha files.
Amanda Stenberg is annoying as frick so I get it’s hard to not be annoyed anytime she does anything. But in a bubble I dont think she’s doing a bad job in the show. Now she does everything she can to pop that bubble and remind you how annoying she is outside the show
I have also enjoyed the performance Qimir has done. Sorta being this weasely guy but the part in episode 2 where he talks to Osha he realy turned the sinister up.
I’m Trinity is as wooden as ever. The space lesbians are bad. They were poorly written they were poorly acted. I didnt like the Osha Mae child actors.
I know she’s an easy target because she’s headland’a wife but the people who go off on Vernestra Rwoh but the amount of hate is so disproportionate to the significance of the character. She gets minimal screen time. She is delivery pretty direct orders. it’s not like she’s giving monologs. Her dialog has been pretty dry.
Yord is very wooden. But his character is uptight to a fault self important.
A lot of the minor jedi have fallen into the “Jedis are in control of there emotions so i can beed to be wooden” trap that I think happens with a lot of jedi’s played by lesser actors across the franchise.

It's like they feel they can shame people into liking it

idk you hate the show.
but you also have watched it and can talk about the stuff that isn’t just the twitter clip circulating around that day.

My thoughts on the music video:
Like 2/3rds of it didn’t even rhyme. Just atrocious.

REVIEW BOMBED!!!
Broken fricking record, man.
Pot meet kettle. This board n those youtubers SEK posts have claimed a movie/show was gonna be "woke" and suck and been wrong so many times anyone that still refuses to watch something because of them is just a gullible idiot.
Remember the DnD movie boycott over "emasculating" the male characters
If you have to watch youtubers to decide whether or not to watch something that's on you.
Its weird that you need a 1,400 post thread to talk about something you aren't interested in.

honestly, as someone who’s advocated giving the show a. chance
I am just begging Stenberg to stop. Like please stop.

I'm just wondering if Disney signed off on that video? Or are they panicking right now?

You can't even admit it's dumb to "review" something you haven't consumed.
That’s not how it works.
A Star Wars fan can get all manner of info on this show without paying for D+ and adding to the official (
KK deciding that the Force is female on its own is absurd! So there’s no reason to believe that Harvey’s former personal assistant could honor anything & it’s proven she can’t /didn’t.
This is 100% a self insert by Leslye (and her estranged sister) into a Disney project for clout & overt narcissistic reasons.

Give ONE example.
Go ahead.
Do it.

Simply reading the synopsis or knowing how clumsy the writers are with known canon is a valid basis by which to judge this show.
No it isn't. It may be a valid way to decide you aren't interested in the show but it doesn't allow you to actually judge the show. Someone can take some of the best movies of all time and make a synopsis or YouTube short and make it look like the dumbest shite of all time.

The review bombing thing doesn't make sense.
People have the ability to positively review bomb. Nothing is stopping that. So currently both "sides" have the ability to influence the rating. If that's the case, why aren't there thousands of defenders running the score back up?
Seems like those people don't exist or they would've helped the score back up right now.

the show has issues, but this isn’t it. That’s a weird talking point you throw out there.

It's such an odd relationship dynamic when it comes to black liberals who date white. They spend so much energy bashing white men but then jump in the sack with them. It's basically fetishized raceplay and really weird.

"In the same way that the original Star Wars film, A New Hope, is about a young man living in Modesto, California, who doesn't want to take over his dad's hardware store," Headland said to The Advocate, referring to George Lucas' own personal inspiration behind the creation of Star Wars, "there's just no way that me being a queer woman is not going to be reflected in my work."

yeah in the same way George Lucas isn’t Luke Skywalker
Leslye Headland isn’t Mae or Osha.
but idk joining the rebellion maybe be allegorical to going to USC Film School
like have you ever watched the OT and thought OMG 100% self insert?

Wait so your solution is EVERYONE should go positively review a bunch of shows/movies they haven't seen to cancel out the people that downvote shows they haven't seen?
You realize why that kinda system only makes sense to a nerd army that spends hours a week consuming star wars YouTube content rather than the general population right?
