Has anyone counted the number of words a white male has spoken in the first two episodes?

feel like this has been said with every Star Wars media that has been released since Last Jedi, yet it's the same cast of characters that always say they will never watch Star Wars again, only to be really informed about all that has happened when they inevitably complain again.
We are looking at a trip to Disney and there's debate in our group right now as to whether to skip star wars in Hollywood studios or not, on the simple basis that the sw universe is on a sharp decline. Why encourage your kids to watch a trash show and get into a franchise put on by people who want to destroy it?

Because Rise of the Resistance is a really well done attraction, and it is very unique.

The good parts of Star Wars are still good. People who let the new content affect how much they enjoy things they used ti enjoy are weak minded.
Whether you like any of the new stuff or not.
Let your kids enjoy what they enjoy. If it’s bad they’ll not be interested in it. I was 9 when the prequels started coming out and thought they sucked. Still do
a they aren’t going to be the ones hyper analyzing every line of dialog.
and the blue milk is pretty good.

now - honest answer - should I give the show a chance?
From the reviews I've seen which included clips of the show, certainly not worth getting Disney+ just for this show. Seems like good forgettable background noise while you're doing laundry.

A claim no one remotely suggested. It's clear she's on this show entirely because it's a Leslye Headland project. And for no other reason. Because she certainly can't act.
I dint know how you can say that’s clear. Her part so far has not exactly called for any range or anything more than delivering a line.

Star Wars has been dead for a long time. For me, it might have been Han's pointless death. Most certainly by TLJ, when Jake Skywalker tossed his lightsaber over his shoulder, or squeezed out a bottle full & took a swig of the green space manatee milk. Or the WW2 bombers in space? Or the 'laser' battering ram? So many ridiculous moments, I never even made it to the Rise of Palpatine. And of course, never reuniting Han, Luke and Leia on screen is the unpardonable sin. That should have been in the 1st 30 minutes of TFA.
I am not going to argue with you here because I really don’t like the sequel trilogy either and everything you said is valid. I really didn’t like it.
But I enjoyed the mandalorian as much as i’ve enjoyed any SW content since I was a kid. I enjoyed it way more than the Prequels.
I liked Rogue One. I never finished Andor but people like it.
Is it better or worse to get no SW content or some you like and some you don’t like?

It's called nepotism. Like how all those kids on the show are likely kids of co-workers or friends of the studio. Merely being on the show is the pay off.
But keep pretending you don't get it.

No I get she got the roll because she is married to the show runner. But saying she can’t act. so far it’s barely a roll. She hasn’t had to do much acting besides delivering a line

So far, I'd describe this show as barely tolerable. The quality of the writing is on full display in the opening scene. This happens in the first two minutes, so I'm not spoiling much for you.
There's the typical Star Wars crawl to set the scene: 'A hundred years before the rise of the Empire, it is a time of peace. The Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic have prospered for centuries without war. But in the dark corners of the galaxy, a powerful few learn to use the Force in secret. One of them, a lone assassin, risks discovery to seek revenge....'"
This assassin walks into a busy bar in the middle of the day. She gets into a kung-fu pose and says to her target, "Attack me with all your strength." This assassin, who has been training in secret, doesn't sabotage her speeder, poison her Bantha milk, or shoot her from 1000 yards with a laser blaster. No, she walks into a busy bar in the middle of the day, gets into a kung-fu pose, and says to her target, "Attack me with all your strength."

She has to fight them not just kill them.

Is the obese Jedi a white male?
If so does he at least get to rave about hot pies?

The guy she gets her poison from relaying the sith lords instructions.

The sith lord said.
I interprted that as, you have to kill what the Jedi stand for. Do you think Mae has to kill the Jedi with her bare hands?

The Jedi live in a dream. A dream they believe everyone shares. If you attack a Jedi with a weapon, you will fail. Steel or laser are no threat to them. But an Acolyte…An Acolyte kills without a weapon. An Acolyte… kills the dream.

Or you know, the force would be an option.
But I do think there is a literal sense to it. Qimir also says something like “remember you have to kill one without a weapon and you still have a rookie to kill”

Didn’t get Willow another season. Got it banished from Disney+.
The content for this compared to willow is like comparing Star Trek fanbase to Babylon 5's.
I mean it is there, and they are rabid. . .but if you are trying to get views on a video, why would it be on an IP that has a fifth of the audience?
