Never heard of this. Just watched the trailer. Based off that it looks like a cheese fest with bad actors. Hard pass.

It's either KK has blackmailed someone or there is enough lunatics in charge, likely angry chubby feminist activists, they are just trying to put a middle finger to the "nerds".
It's hard for me to believe the sabotage is due to an ideological bubble, I have a hard time thinking people in Hollywood are that unaware. It's frightening if they are.
My only conclusion is a deliberate sabotage.
It was a strategic miscalculation: they THOUGHT you could record monkeys throwing shite at each other, put Star Wars in the title, and it would make a billion at the box office. So somebody using that logic decided to make the focus on girls, hoping they could also get the girl audience. If it HAD worked, it's bigger than Avatar.
It didn't work.
Now, I think some of it is still trying to find the magic formula, and some of it is bitterness and spite because they've been embarrassed about being so wrong. And they've gotten to where they try to shame the audience into viewing their product, which obviously isn't going to work either.

Woah, i just watched a video about the show, and they had the major actors and the director discussing the movie and such.
What a fricking abortion, the Men are soy boys, and the women are lame, boring, and KK has 100% destroyed the franchise.
I have no clue why disney hasnt been sued by the share holders for failing their fiduciary duties as ceo and board.
they have taken it from breaking 200's, to now, sitting at $101, lol And they continue to go all in on making shite films for %10 of the population, who, dont watch the series, movies,etc.
