explain fire in space and the rock fire.
Fire in space isn't new to Star Wars in the Acolyte.
It was in the Clone Wars animated series. There is oxygen and other fuels in the ship that can catch fire.
the Rock fire was an oil lamp that caught fire on the rock.
I swear you guys pick the dumbest things to point out.

What the frick is going on in this show. I can't figure out anything, none of it makes sense.

i mean it literally has oxygen spraying into it on the show. You know the show isn't real life right? the fire looking different isn't gonna change that
if you are just looking for shite like the fire not blazing correctly in any show you will constantly find shite to be mad about. It's a TV show. How angry did it make you when Game of Thrones left a starbucks cup in the show? It didn't bother me at all because I realize its a TV show

When the writer doesn’t even know what’s going on in her own show it should tell you something.

All three of Lucas' theories match the Plagueis story
Please elaborate here because I have seen it mentioned in a draft but never in canon.
In an early Revenge of the Sith draft, Palpatine confirmed that Darth Plagueis used the Midi-chlorians to start the cell division that created Anakin Skywalker. However, given that this confirmation was never made into the movie, nor was it ever revisited, the idea that Darth Plagueis created Anakin remains just a theory. The same applies to whether Palpatine created Anakin, which has never been confirmed by the Star Wars canon.
quote:
We know it was the Force, because there was no Father, and Qui Gonn said it was the Force. He then fulfilled the prophecy by ending the Emperor and turning back to the light
Lucas’ second theory suggests that the Midi-chlorians themselves were responsible for the Chosen One’s birth.
Lucas does not affirm that the Force itself created Anakin in this scenario, but rather the Midi-chlorians. Arguably the Star Wars prequels’ most divisive concept, the Midi-chlorians are not the Force itself. They are, however, what allows a person to perceive the Force around them as a result of the symbiotic relationship between Midi-chlorians and the human cells.
According to Lucas in James Cameron's Story of Science Fiction, the Midi-chlorians act as a “conduit” between the Force and the living things, so it is difficult to imagine them proactively creating Star Wars' Chosen One.

Flaming rocks make sense?

Go drop a lantern of oil on a concrete floor and then light it on fire and see what happens

What makes you think that planet didn't have oxygen? Noone was wearing a spacesuit

Just trying to cover all bases on this shite show of a discussion thats occurring
Posted on 7/11/24 at 6:12 pm to DarkDrifter
It's definitely a shite show discussion, people trying to point out plot holes that don't even matter.
You don't need a reason to not like the show, if you don't like it just don't watch.
People trying to act like other people are stupid for enjoying a show is some pathetic bitch shite.
I don't need anyone's approval to enjoy a star wars show.

The oil will burn. And then go out. it won't catch the entire mountain top ablaze. FFS, the lengths you'll go to in defending this crap.
As I asked before, what is it that has you sooooooo damn militant in your defense of a very poorly written show that makes no sense, what so ever?

Unlesssss there is another fuel source, it didn't show what caused the explosion but it was an old mining camp so could've been anything.

I wouldn't call pointing out lies as "defending" the show. I'm just setting the facts straight. If someone says they don't like the show I won't tell them they're wrong.
If someone says "rocks caught on fire" when it was the oil on the rocks caught on fire I will correct that.
Also you came in this evening and posted this which was flat out factually not what happened. Osha was the one he told he would reveal all to and she did not see what happened because she was locked inside.

Well, I'm kind of indifferent here... On one hand I may not watch due to the shows headliner pushing an agenda.. But, being a long time fan of all things Star Wars I may give it a looksee... Unfortunately plot holes in a shows not told by the same person are gonna happen.. Hell Lucas has plot holes on his on shite so nothing is perfect...
I think most fans hold Star Wars to a very standard and honestly Disney has been pretty disappointing ... That said the same people that have issue with this series probably have no issues with a lot on the EU inconsistencies ... Then again I see the argument for the shitting on people defending this series as well .. it just doesn't feel like Star Wars content that should be out there... I would almost guarantee that is this dumbass in charge of the series wouldn't have tried to gay it up so to speak probably would have received slightly better reception from fans, but given some of the reviews it still would have fallen short of expectations...
Honestly, give me a non agenda driven Revan story that tells it as close to the books and Old Republic game as possible and you'll capture the people hating on this story...
Posted on 7/11/24 at 6:51 pm to DarkDrifter
yeah i wouldn't look at this show if you are expecting anything deep at all, it's more casual viewing to see the different worlds and shite like that and some cool fight scenes every now and then. the good thing is the episodes are short and theres no need to go back and rewatch. The droid that Osha has reminds me of BD-1 from the Jedi Fallen Order game which is cool since I just got around to beating it.
Posted on 7/11/24 at 6:59 pm to Corinthians420
There is no big reveal with Osha OR Mae. One second Mae wants Osha to stay, the next she's trying to KILL her! LOL Mae says she's going to turn herself into the Jedi, then runs away. (After having killed 2 already, btw)
It's a meandering mess of a story. It's at BEST a rough draft... not a finished work, but damn...180 million dollars.

Sorry for your loss man. It sucks you can't enjoy star wars anymore.
Im playing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor rn and it's great. The Acolyte got me back into the universe after I took a break after I finished Andor.

I'll listen to my original 1977 Star Wars John Williams LP soundtrack, and you can have all that trash fanfic posing as 'Star Wars'.
The OT were fantastic. But it's a dead franchise. And there are many who agree with me on this.
