Gave it a few minutes, he’s on some rant about J Edgar Hoover….not sure I’m the target demo for this show, but his punchlines aren’t even getting laughs from the crowd
Oh Comedy Central…remember when you used to have shows that were funny?
ETA: now a sketch on America’s top cracka that’s borderline retarded. Who gave this idiot a show?

Charlemagne has a bad case of TDS and it broke him. It's a shame because I don't think he's that bad of a broadcaster.

He's a white hating racist but I actually enjoy his radio show interviews. He's a fairly good interviewer. This show though just sounds like it won't be good.

I’ll always remember him for the time Joe Biden cut their interview short during the election, Charlemagne got pissed that he wasn’t really taking him seriously, and Biden basically said “what are you going to do about it? You’re black, you’re going to vote for me anyways.”
And then he proceeded to (as Colbert, his good white friend, put it) be Biden’s cock holster the rest of the campaign.

i've seen a few clips and he's definitely going for funny, he's just not funny. Same as Trevor Noah.
What's funny is that i've seen Trevor Noah off of his Daily Show gimmick and i do find him to be a pretty funny guy. but as soon as he gets into Daily Show routine it's really flat.
and i do actually think CtG is a good broadcaster. Breakfast club isn't my cup of tea, but it's a well done show.

Was watching re-runs on CC of The Office and they did an advertisement for this show. I can't believe it is still airing, it's horrific.

This is similar to the Trevor Noah show for me, in that I have to assume the best or funniest parts are used in the marketing campaigns for these shows. And literally every single commercial I see for either of these shows has the absolute least funny content. So if that’s the joke(s) they are going with to advertise the shows, the actual shows have to be awful.
Every now and the I’ll have The Office on tv, and eventually The Daily Show comes on, and so I catch a minute or two of it. And it’s just bad. Like really, really bad.
Compare that to a show like the David Spade show from last year. The commercials at least made me chuckle and I liked the show a lot (although part of that was depending upon the guests that particular night). Yet that show, which was not only funny in its own right but also intentionally stayed away from politics, gets cancelled while these idiotic shows (both unfunny and ate up with stupid political shite) get to stick around (and be promoted endlessly). It’s no wonder why CC is struggling.
