I'm genuinely curious if the actor who plays Nate actually got grayer hair or if that was a stylistic choice for this season to show that he's changed.

It got grayer every episode it seemed.

That was a fantastic episode by the way.

It was one of the best in the series I think. Also it’s pretty hilarious how much they’re making Nate like Jose Mourinho.

Nate’s a little shite.

Roy and Keeley either need to do the break up shite or get off the pot.

Wonder what’s next for Trent?

"I'd be happy to headbutt you, Nate."

Beard was all of us in that moment.

im pretty sure for about the first half the season nate had his usual dark hair, seems odd he would have grayed that much that rapidly in however many weeks it takes to shoot a season.

Too lazy to look but someone absolutely called it with Rupert buying a rival team and Nate being the coach.

Also frick Nate. Nothing he said made any sense. Ted makes everyone feel like they’re the most important person in the world so he definitely didn’t ignore Nate.

I wonder if Trent is gone for good. I could see him writing a book about Ted or something.

I couldn’t understand the Sam to Casablanca storyline at all.

“Hey Sam, I know you’re playing in the best league in the world, but how would you like to torpedo your career to play for a team with no international reputation and that you have no national, cultural, or ethnic connection to? You know, because Africa!”

Just checking in to say good morning to everyone except Nate Shelley.

Will be back later to give my full thoughts.

Maybe have him go to work for Keeley's PR firm.

Roy no-selling Nate when he told him about kissing Keeley was brutal. He knows he'll never be as popular as Ted or Roy and could never even consider getting a girl like Keeley. He's reached the success he wanted but it cost him everything and is empty. The "inverted pyramid of success"

Nate’s heel turn has been well executed.

This season didn’t have an enemy except “mental health” which was okay, but season 3 has a super heel team in Nate and Rupert

I kind of think that was the point. The guy was basically saying he wants to build up the African team/league, by bring all of the best African players back home and wanted to start with Sam.

I think the reason it does appeal to Sam is that he does have a lot of national pride.

I still think Nate’s attitude is based on a fabrication of his own. Nate got the credit last year when he made a big in game decision. Ted told Trent about it. Nate was given the opportunity to speak to the team on his own. This year, he’s been given a ton of chances to make decisions and he got the credit when Ted left. I don’t mind Nate being a dick for this season and future seasons. But his feelings weren’t based in reality. He could have used Sharon.

Based on their reactions, I think Sam dodged a huge bullet and he knew it. That fake handshake cracked me up.

I said that after the funeral episode, but I can’t take too much credit for it because it was so obvious the second Rupert gave up his shares and then whispered something to Nate.
