This is how you know none of the people associated with Ted Lasso have anything going on right now.
It should have been time to use the show’s success to springboard to other things. Instead, we get rehash. Awesome.

Most of the season will take place in the UK, with AFC Richmond starting a Women's Team and Ted coaching it

I would imagine the story will be that Ted is brought in to coach Rebecca’s women’s team so he will be in the same building as Roy so they will continue to interact.

It’s almost too easy. Maybe they can throw in another unnecessary les relationship with Keeley and one of the players
and I can already picture Ted having to win over an even “tougher” locker room. Some chick with a buzz cut wearing a hoodie and giant headphones tuning him out will be their Jamie Tartt.

Hopefully they can capture the same team chemistry with a new cast of players. The old squad had already had their character arcs except for the guy that ted faught to sign who promptly fricked off to be a farmer or whatever (he shouldve stuck around the team longer)

The show isn’t going to fail because he’s coaching a women’s team, who really cares about that the show was never really about the soccer.
The show will fail because it’s been played out, Ted Lasso was an interesting character but he’s too one dimensional to last 4 seasons and so are most of the characters on the show.
Honestly adding some new characters is the only way forward but I still think the whole premise has been played out at this point, 3 seasons was enough.
