Kaleb is too good and likeable to make it far... at least it seems that way but you never know.

I think it was a mistake to go to the other tribe to be the one to steal something, and it was an even bigger mistake to ask to talk to everyone individually. Once he realized he was on the anchor tribe, his only thought should be survival to merge. Every one of his tribe members will be a commodity when they merge just due to the fact that they tip the scale. So, I just think he showed his skills way too early to other people.
I have bashed the 6 member tribe for years, but it was good TV last night. I really like Kaleb and Bia and think if they both made the merge, they'd be very good players. So, even though I was pulling for Kaleb to sniff out the blindside, it was tough watching a good player go home.
I am also shocked at how much I've grown to like Emily. Her transformation from a total bitch to a person working on herself has been impressive and believable.

Well, Survivor is one or the most woke reality shows out there today.
quote:Not really. Jeff stopped saying "come on in, guys". That's about it. People absolutely can say "hey guys" all they want.
They banned the phrase "hey guys" because it was offensive to figs and women.

I came here just to see if anybody was talking about this. Holy shite, that was bad. Is he a biological female? I don’t understand how any young man has that little upper body strength.

It’s funny how a player like Sabiyah can play the game so hard to try to convince the tribe to do a certain thing and show she’s not a trustworthy ally and then be surprised when the other players conclude she’s a threat.

A lot of people have stated they quit watching either this season after the first episode (how bad the Lulus were) or the past few seasons (supposedly becoming “woke.”)
They’re missing out on what’s becoming a great season - if they truly quit watching at all, which I doubt.

If they quit watching, they can't bitch about it.
Last tribal was great.

I thought she played way too hard too early. It would be easy to showcase Kaleb as a threat later and get him out as soon as he didnt win immunity. He would have also been a shield for her.

The show has improved from that first tribal, but then it had to.

Got rid of old puzzles that players could game.
Fixed it where players couldn't sit out challenges consecutively.
These were 2 huge problems. I know they said that sitting out could be a strategy, but I'd rather them all be forced to play. They sort of had to fix the old puzzle problems after what Carson did last season.

This has been some of the best early survivor episodes, last week was truly a great episode.
Emily’s transformation has been incredible

Bia would probably be a much better player at the merge than she was in this tribe. she played way, way, way too hard. i dont hate the risk of trying to prolong and preserve the idol, but her problem was that she had already fricked up so badly that there was no way for her to realize she was the one going home.
had she done literally nothing but gone with the flow for just that one tribal, she'd have the idol preserved and probably emily is gone. she is the type of player that i want to watch and im pretty disappointed she's gone, although that episode was probably worth it as it brought everything possible to a premerge episode.

We have ANOTHER person begging to be voted out? Wow.

And it seemed like it just came out of the blue.

I was hoping it was a weird act to blindside the other guy, but…nope.
Posted on 10/18/23 at 10:07 pm to Evil Little Thing
I'd really like to hear how D thinks Sifu is so untrustworthy that she rather trust a guy who is begging to leave. Also, if you're going to ask to leave, just leave. Don't pull this crap where you vote for someone else. Just stop wasting everyone's time and go.

I hope that’s what Dee was thinking too. Sean breaks down and begs to go home and Dee votes to make him stay? Nice.
Sean seemed to be doing okay and had a great vibe with J so it caught me off guard. Probst’s podcast might give some clues.

The look on Jeff's face...This one was such a blindside, at least to the TV audience and it didn't seem like he had talked about it to tribemates previously. Jeff looked like, "Holy shite! Another quitter!"
Posted on 10/19/23 at 9:02 am to LaLadyinTx
Yeah, I saw that, too. Jeff had that look on his face like he was about to smack someone. It went away quickly, though.

I listened to Probst’s podcast and he definitely thought this was different than the quit in Episode 1. He said the earlier quit was building for a while and Hannah was miserable being out there. He said that Sean wasn’t miserable, he wasn’t sleep-deprived, starving, or injured. Probst thought Sean believed he was going to be blindsided because Probst asked him about his Survivor journey so Sean manufactured a reason to leave. Sean even said in the post-TC interview that he would have won if he decided to stay.
Probst said every indication was that Sifu was going home and Sean was safe.
