JD got completely played though and it was glorious.

I’d like to give her some credit for pulling this off, but Jesus Christ JD was a complete and total idiot. Not only telling her about the advantage, AND THEN giving it up to her….ONLY TO DO IT AGAIN AND GET VOTED OUT. Why in the holy hell didn’t he just use pull in the other chick, use his extra vote, and get out Ricard or something. Dude got played so hard.

It blows my mind how every single one of these people winning advantages can’t wait to announce it to someone. I ain’t telling anyone shite if I won something until I use it.

JD was the uncool kid that tried to reinvent himself as a cool kid on Survivor like some do when they go to college. The issue is he still had that outcast need for acceptance that lead him to many of his multiple gameplay mistakes.

As previously mentioned in this thread, a women's alliance has happened like 4 times in the previous 40 seasons.

YES! Shann and Ricard for me , after seeing 99.9% of all Survivor episodes since day one are the two most annoying / irritating players EVER!
Ok so you're just trolling lol. There's zero chance anybody has this much feeling towards Ricard good or bad when he's only getting like 1 confessional per episode. Unless you are just irrationally mad about the "guys" thing.

And I really don't like how it's setting up for her and Ricard as I don't want either to win.
I think there is 0.001 chance Shan wins this season. Her edit is too good too soon. If she goes on to win then this is a domination unlike any other season we've ever seen and it's not close.

I think she is being set up to be the metaphorical dragon that the actual winner has to slay.

Shan has a higher chance than that, but her biggest problem is going to be numbers post-merge. Her tribe is decimated. Can she integrate herself with the other players at the merge? She has the personality to do so if she doesn't present herself as a threat. A couple of weeks ago I said she was too emotional to win, then she comes back the next week and makes a cut throat play to prove me wrong.

I do agree her edit is a bit too generous right now, but she's also been very integral the past 2 TC's.

Definitely don’t like the advantages they get from going to that little Island. Seems like it gives the producers way too much potential influence on the game. Everybody else goes and gets an extra vote. But now they’re giving away the opportunity to steal anybody else’s advantage? Considering the hoops some of the people had to jump through to get their advantage that is complete bullshite.

If I start to get the feeling the producers are picking and choosing who gets the good advantages that’ll be the end of Survivor for me.

Way generous on this one as well. Kind of changing my tune about her after hearing her story. Always like when someone gets their life right.

Boring episode... the Shan/Ricard pair are so damn annoying. I hope this season picks up after the merge.

this time im going to agree for sure. that episode didnt have much for me. disappointed and tired of seeing the same people but not sure what they are supposed to do when the same tribe keeps going to tribal.

the naseer immunity idol find and those being activated was cool.

That was good production, not letting us know that Naseer had found one ahead of time. And good for him for not wanting to throw a challenge and not telling anyone about his idol.

I am not the biggest fan of the Shot in the Dark, but that aspect of the game gave the show 30 minutes of content last night. When the challenge ended, I told my wife they must be doing two tribals this week because this one is obvious. They don't even need to play along with Genie. Then, Ricard starts playing with Genie, and I kept thinking "this dude is an a-hole". There's no point to this. Then she reminded me about the shot.

Then they shite on it by giving a chance to be stolen.

Brutal advantage to go through with no vote(luckily mitigated by only one tribal for Xander)

I really think they put the dumbest people with Shan and Ricard. One or both will be in the final.

Heather breaking down and crying when she blew the reward challenge? Nice way to put a target on your back.

Look, I'm all for having people of different ages on Survivor, but having someone completely un-athletic like Heather in there is a bit annoying. She sits out of any challenge she can and is getting carried by her team.

They should really make players play in immunity challenges if they sat out the last one.

I have to agree. From what it looks like, they aren't merging. Possibly switching up tribes?

While they hinted that it will be "different" this time they have to do something or the challenges will be just 2 people from each tribe competing.

Would be interesting merge the green and yellow into a 6 person tribe and leave blue intact.

I absolutely HATE this advantage/twist in the game.
