I really hope Emily goes soon and thought we'd actually see that last night
She seems to be getting a lot of airtime. She may make it to the end simply because she is not a real threat to win.

Also, did Jonathan not realize that if Christian had to vote then, he couldn't use the shot in the dark anyway?
He knew.. I'm pretty sure he even said that Christian would certainly give it up because he couldn't play it anyway.

Still annoys me that in 1.5 hour episode, we only get 10 minutes of challenge, could easily have a separate reward challenge and have time for all the camp drama. Don't need 10 minutes talking about Jimmy Fallon
100%. I thought this episode was pretty boring! I miss having a reward challenge and a safety challenge. It also feels like no one is looking for idols either. I really don't feel like this season is living up to it's billing at all. I just don't care about a lot of the people left and don't understand why Cirie gets her way all the time.

It’s all in the editing. I’m pretty sure they are looking for them.

The penalty on Christian was a bit much.
Not even close to the punishment Chrissy received- being tie to Coach, Christian had an opportunity receive a reward, he failed. Chrissy got fricked hard.

Decent episode as a whole. Christian was one of the people I was rooting for. He can be annoying, but he’s unintentionally funny as hell. The way he left the game sucked pretty bad for him. The penalty for losing the challenge was certainly very harsh. On the other hand though, he did volunteer to go, and Christian who is known for being one of, if not the best Survivor puzzle players ever, failed and wasn’t even particularly close. Side note on that, I noticed his puzzle skills were way down this season compared to him on David vs. Goliath.
Emily is still Emily. Annoying as hell. Sounds like she’s never made rice a day in her life. I get rationing to an extent, but they just landed a massive bag of rice to last them the game, there are only 10 or so days left, and will still be reward challenges. Harping on it as much as she did, was insane.
I don’t dislike Cirie, but I don’t understand the pull she has in this game. She has also done this most times she has played Survivor. I get it, she’s the likable, older women, who is probably looked at as a “mom” by the younger tribe mates, but man they let her dictate nearly everything when it comes to making moves/who to send home/how to dictate and distribute votes. She will win this game, if they don’t take her out when the game dwindles down to 5-6 players.
I am really hoping for some big moves, but time is running out. Hell the “biggest move” of the season so far was Devens “fake idol” at Tribal find, that did work out, and he played it perfectly, but that’s about all we’ve been given.
No successful shot in the darks, no successful idol plays, no really major blindsides. It seems like every week going into Tribal the viewers are pretty much dead set on 1 to MAYBE 2 names that will go home, and inevitably they do. Gameplay has been pretty sub-par IMO, especially considering every person has played this game multiple times now.
I guess for me, it’s Steph, and Ozzy at the top of my list who I’m rooting for. Jonathon and Joe would be okay. Joe’s gameplay is pretty weak though outside of competitions. Jonathon has been a much more strategic player this time around at least. Devens is now playing the underdog story, and that can be something to root for.
Any of Emily, Tiffany, Aubry would be the worst Survivor winners of all time. I know none of them will win, but the fact the 3 of them are still there is a joke.
Next week is Survivor Auction. Always a good time, and makes for a fun episode. We will see how it turns out though, because they are bringing the YouTuber on to do it. I just hope the Auction sticks to old school auction, with possibly a twist, or advantage that looks like it’s coming no matter what.

They both caught a raw deal... but in Christian's spot everyone else that has gone to exile has the opportunity to lie about whether they failed or succeeded. He not only had to vote for himself (which is normally against the rules) but he couldn't lie about it.
He could have tried to make everyone think he was lying maybe, but they read the note so knew he wasn't.

Not even close to the same
Christian elected to go, he failed & he got sent home? He has 2 opportunities to stay out of the fray, Let Ozzy go or win a solo challenge.
Chrissy got tied to Coach, Devens pulled a stunt and everyone took their shot a Coach.( had nothing to do with her.)

Very close to the same.. they both got fricked over by brand new twists thanks to the fans.
Very different twists, yes.

I found it odd that everyone was talking about how bad Devens’ play was with the fake idol “discovery”, but it seemed pretty obvious he would have been going home otherwise. And one could argue that they only show what they want to show as far as pre-tribal discussion so it doesn’t look so obvious who is really going home, but the fact that his play ignited a live tribal and had people scrambling makes it pretty obvious that he was the original vote. So it’s like, “Yeah, that was sloppy play by Devens with the idol grandstanding - he should’ve done nothing and went home.”

I also have to imagine that people are questioning it's validity and the editors just aren't showing it. You always project the opposite vibe to your intention with an idol. So, these veterans have to see that he is boisterous with this idol, something must be fishy. If it was legit, he would be more discreet.

Think it still would have been Chrissy and Coach.
Almost every time there's a live tribal it changes nothing.
But Devens was definitely being tossed around as a potential vote so no harm in that extra insurance.

Hasn't the black lady in 2nd pic played like 9x now?
Posted on 4/24/26 at 8:19 pm to WM88
Think it's her 5th time on US Survivor... but she's also done Australian Survivor, big brother, and The Traitors (which she won)

How many people can say they actually flipped a coin for $1 million?!

I absolutely loved how the episode turned out. Kudos to Mr. beast. His twist was way better than Billy Eilish or Zac Brown or Jimmy Fallon

Can someone give me a good synopsis or tell me what happened? I'm in Cali and lost all ability to stream tonight's episode. Whose torch went out?
