That was pretty exciting. Props to Rick for how he handled the fake idol deal. Super glad they finally voted out the dragon slayer prick.

Yeah glad to see Coach finally gone!

Devens I feel like they were going home if he didn’t pull that off

I did not vote for all of the “twists” but damn what an episode!!

I couldn’t believe that he and Aubry weren’t out idol hunting after the challenge. I assumed he and Christian planted the fake idol to make a fool out of someone but I guess their plan was to use it themselves at some point in the future.

Glad to see Coach gone. Sucks that Chrissy was collateral damage.

I'm just tired of seeing Cerie and hearing her described as this "ICON". She does nothing.

Of course

Cirie is safe
Cirie gets her vote
Cirie gets her way at tribal.

The fake idol play was awesome. Great timing by Devens. AND he didn't try to play it and had a good fake excuse for not using it. Although he just tucked in between the stones a while back and then he's having to toss stones around to get it back out. That seemed like more theatrics than anything else.

I thought the Christian/Jonathan team had all the bases covered for a comp. Brains and Brawn. But, that didn't go as well as I thought it would.

I was really pulling for Steph and Ozzy during that final part. If they had just shown a little patience at the end of the maze they could have won.

Yes, the worst part of the episode is that Cerie get sent to EI only to gain a huge advantage with safety and not having to compete in the challenge which she would have lost. Otherwise good episode.

Last week, Coach tells people how to vote and he becomes a target.

This week, people were overjoyed when Cirie comes back before TC to tell them how to vote. It was pathetic to hear Joe say he was going to vote for Devens but thankfully Cirie straightened him out. He doesn’t deserve to win with that attitude.

Sometimes luck gets people farther than talent. She is a prime example of that.

It was a good episode though.

Yeah that was absolutely brilliant. When they first planted it, I wasn’t sure how they were going to play it out later. But he played it to dramatic perfection, definitely saved them from going home (the frantic whispering made it clear they were the original target)…and to boot had the perfect excuse for not “playing” it. Absolute perfection and an all time top 10 tribal moment.

I feel like Jonathan is displaying too much control lately, and that along with his physical prowess has me worried for him.

Cirie does plenty. Just not in a way that you see as "something".

Cirie got back from exile and almost immediately flipped the vote onto Coach and Chrissie.

She's certainly worthless in challenges but that's only part of the game.

Loved Jeff "competing" in the challenge, that was quality TV.

The penalty on Christian was a bit much... sucks for him to go, but he was a threat and that was a minimal risk time to take a shot.

Cirie is going to win this... Johnathan next pick, then maybe Devens because I think everyone likes him and he'll play well to the jury.

I really felt bad for Christian. I loved his messages to his new baby.

I thought the exchange between Cirie and Emily was hilarious when Cirie said to the camera if Emily said one more word about how to cook the rice she was putting down her name at tribal.

All that talk around camp about getting Emily out and not one vote against her. I'm surprised she didn't tell anyone that Deven's idol is fake.

I'm not a Christian fan. I'm glad he's out.

But, THAT was fricked up! Having to vote for himself is bad enough but, making him tell everyone was just wrong. Everyone else at lest had the option of lying about what they got or didn't get.

This is starting to look a lot like the season of Big Brother with Cirie. No one is even considering voting for her and she's behind the scene pulling strings.

Emily seems like this rich, spoiled kid who thinks rice just comes from the store or the restaurant.

Probst participating in the comp was fun. He FAFO pretty quickly. Even Aubry outlasted him.

Not a big Christian fan, but he did volunteer to go to EI AND he lost a challenge suited for him. He would have gladly pranced into camp and thrown an extra vote on Ozzy if he did not panic and fail.

I liked Christian coming into the season, but was not a fan of his play this season. I really hope Emily goes soon and thought we'd actually see that last night. It's clear production is really jumping around with their cuts to make tribal more intriguing.

Still annoys me that in 1.5 hour episode, we only get 10 minutes of challenge, could easily have a separate reward challenge and have time for all the camp drama. Don't need 10 minutes talking about Jimmy Fallon

True but, other players at most just lost their own vote and they had the option whether to admit that or not. Having to vote for yourself AND having to tell everyone is just wrong.

Also, did Jonathan not realize that if Christian had to vote then, he couldn't use the shot in the dark anyway?

It was not wrong at all . . . it was an awesome twist. The predictability is what makes the game stale, even more so for returning players.

If he had been told the rules in advance and been given the option of whether to attempt the challenge — he would have taken that risk every time as he was cocky about his intelligence helping him solve the puzzle. He just choked under the pressure.

He was entertaining but he was sloppy. He was burned early by Emily running her mouth. He gave her a second chance and she burned him again, yet he still counted her as part of his alliance.

Good riddance.
