My apologies if this has been discussed before but holy crap is everyone on that show extra, especially that whack job host Leslie Jones. I’m 38 but remember the original and it was more exciting and fun. The reboot HAS to be diverse which is fine but the extraness, especially the LGBTQ-whatever influence just makes it so unpleasant.
Anyone else have any thoughts on the reboot?

It’s supermarket sweep. Who gives a shite about the host?! As long as they get that ham!!
Imagine being your 7 year old self caring about the color or sex of the supermarket sweep people. Let you kid watch it and see if they care

Guy’s Grocery Games satisfies any desire for me to watch supermarket sweep-type shows. So I won’t watch.

The change they made to the final challenge in Season 2 is terrible - it takes away all the tension and pressure.
I'm still unclear what they are allowed to put in the carts. Is there a limit to specific items?

I do. That's also why I'll never watch Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives, America's Got Talent, or Deal or No Deal. If the host was irrelevant, they wouldn't have one.

Not by all accounts. Not saying that they are true, but there were some pretty nasty rumors about him on CDAN a few years ago.

Pretty sure there are original Supermarket Sweep episodes on Netflix (the 90s version).
We watched a few of them a while back. Brought back lots of memories, and the show was still a fun watch decades later.

It's more than kinda annoying. I find Julie Chen kinda annoying but was still able to watch every season of Big Brother, until this year.
Not that he needs my eyeballs watching, but if he ever gets a makeover and starts dressing like a grown man, I'd probably tune in to his shows.
