57% critics, 76% audience

While not a world beater score, it’s still promising any time the audience score is higher than the critic score

Supergirl is a strong, independent woman. She doesn't need my support.

Anything below an 80 for RT now, since the algorithm adjustment, is a poor score.

DC Studios is no better than Disney/Marvel now. They’re just as bad when it comes to producing mass amounts of slop films.

Not exactly, DC has the Reeves side that’s completely different and actually does well. MCU doesn’t have that right now but we’ll see how bringing the band back together works for doomsday.

No offense but Reeves’ Batman was mid as hell. It was a complete step down from the Nolan trilogy in terms of cinematography, music, and acting. In terms of quality, it’s about on par with BvS while still being completely inferior to the Burton and Nolan films.

DC’s best movies are worse than MCU’s best post-Endgame movies, much less pre-Endgame

Your opinion of it is irrelevant. It was successful, so was The Penguin series and both are distinctly different to Gunn’s projects.

I prefer BB and The Dark Knight, but this is not true. The Batman has incredible cinematography. Fraser was highly praised for his work on that film.

quote:

Roger Deakins has turned into a full-fledged fanboy of Matt Reeves’ “The Batman.” He’s made it very clear how much he loves this movie.

This past March, Deakins said “the best cinematography [of 2022] wasn’t Oscar-nominated. It’s “The Batman”. That’s the best work in my view.” Adding that the reason DP Greig Fraser’s “extraordinary” work wasn’t nominated was due to “pure and simple: snobbery”.

About $185 mil less than The Batman’s opening weekend worldwide ($90 domestic) but you know, “they’re the same”

Then your opinion is irrelevant as well.

Nothing about Reeves film made it memorable like the Nolan or Burton films.

Man of Steel is an iconic film that people actually still discuss and enjoy.

Supergirl is going to kill the DCU
