And you think your opinion is a fact? I thought opinions weren’t facts?

I'm guessing there's a reason why MOS was used as a comparison and not Superman 2025.

MOS - 670 million

Superman 2025 - 618+ million

I may be in the minority of people who enjoyed both movies. Will watch Supergirl when it hits streaming but not expecting much. Lobo was exciting but haven't heard much about him in this movie

completely inferior to the Burton and Nolan films.

The Batman >>> The Dark Knight Rises. That movie was a mess. I would put The Batman up there w/ Burton and Nolan's best two.

I think it's because they have the same Rotten Tomatoes score. 2025 Superman doesn't have that score, thus it cannot be mentioned as having the same score, which is the clearly stated intention of this thread

I didn’t give an opinion, I stated that the projects under Reeves have been successful and very different. Since you can’t be honest I’ll break it down

Gunn’s projects
- Superman, $618million box office on a $250 million dollar budget. With advertising it reported lost $47-50 million dollars
- Peacemaker, peaked at just over 700k views at premier, dropped to about 430k by its end and was canceled
- Supergirl, now estimated to pull about $200-240 million on a $186 million budget, will lose well over $150 million

Reeves projects
-The Batman, $772 million in a $185 million dollar budget
- The Penguin, averaged over 2.1million viewers with a high over 5.3million

Do you see the difference? Honest question because not sure you can.

Probably because he's not in it very much?

And that's why I asked the question. SM 2025 is directly tied to this movie, and despite its high reviews, it did WORSE than MOS.

Box office success doesn’t mean that it’s a “good” film. We can agree to disagree. Your opinion is nothing more than your opinion. Time to put your ego aside and accept that.

he probably couldn't understand the plot

Pretty much even Tim Walz's son could follow that basic and generic plot which also gave us a dumbed down, lazy and simplistic version of one of the most calculating masterminds in comic book lore known for elaborate schemes and intellectual battles.

It's not a bad film but my frick, it's nothing even remotely spectacular or memorable and barely above mid. And Pattinson was so bland Batman, we owe Kilmer and apology.

Typical hypocrisy and reframing because of course it’s your ego that’s bruised. I never gave an opinion, you did and it was factually incorrect as proven.

All I did was simply state my opinion and it hurt your ego enough that it made you attack me over it.

How about we just shake hands and call it even? This kind of pettiness over a movie is silly and pointless.

Stop reframing what happened. You said MCU and DC were identical, I showed why they’re not. You denied it was real, I provided you with the information disproving that. I didn’t give an opinion, you made an ignorant statement and can’t admit it period.
