Me and Mrs Iwy liked it. Really surprised that’s the RT score because it is going to do really well at the box office.

Jack Black was great as Bowser.

Not woke, no race swaps, no gays, good nostalgia, should be right up the boards alley.

Just got back from it. The plot was pretty straightforward, but the kids and I really enjoyed it. It was a fun movie with tons of nods to the games and my lord, it is drop dead gorgeous.

That’s a strong indicator that the movie was made for Mario fans.

This explains the critics score.

It’s not supposed to be Citizen Kane. It’s a family friendly movie that’s filled with nostalgia and fun for all.

Well that means it's good.

Critics hate everything.

Me and sons saw it today, we all loved it. Kind of slow starting out and didn’t really know where the plot was going; but then it was a great ride and the graphics were amazing

54% is about what i would of expected maybe 65% tops. That doesn't mean it's bad if you you love nintendo and mario games.

I stopped caring about critics reviews on RT years ago and strictly go off the audience score.

Hasn't failed me yet.

I would argue that low critic scores on RT these days is actually a tell tale sign of a GOOD movie

Heck yeah, taking my little girl this weekend. She loves Mario and so do I, so I'm stoked to hear it's good!

My daughters have been begging to go to this all week. Guess I need to prepurchase tickets and expect a full theater.
