BTW, this episode was the most annoying Shiv has been in the entire series and tha
She took her despicableness to a new level in the argument with Tom when he started owning her arse so she brings up her dead dad that in truth she never gave a frick about then when that didn't work whipped out the pregnancy card
She was like the worst version of any stereotypical woman in this episode

She tried to pretend she was only acting in the best interest of "virtue" and "democracy" but she was absolutely trying to benefit herself as well if not more so
Its like you havent watched the show if you think she cares about anything but her.

I went and checked out the Succession subreddit, and holy shite. That place thinks this show is real life. They also truly believe that Shiv acted the way she did last night to save democracy and not in her own interests.
A lot of folks saying that this triggered them back to the 2016 election night.. what a sad, sad subreddit

This is why I only use Reddit for normal porn and golf porn.

Well yeah.. That's reddit in general. The whole entire website is just wokeness and virtue signaling. I wear my downvotes like badges of honor over there.

the face acting in the last scene was so goddamn good
I honestly can't tell if they are leading everything up to all 3 kids destroying each other and no one comes out on top or they all still come out on top (obviously they are all still billionaires either way) and the point of the show is that shitty people still win because the "system is rigged"
I don't know

Roman was great in this episode

There are two frames of Greg looking at Shiv. That's the first, where he's giving her the 'dunno' look. The second he's wiggling his eyebrows and smiling at her. I had to rewind it because in the shot there's a reflection from inside the room, so it's just a split second that you see it, but when you do, it's hilarious.

I couldn't believe it. Greg dropping his nuts. I think he might frick Tom over too before the end.
If he gets the chance.

Karl “Connor is running for President?” Lol

I gotta say, I don't get the whole 'Greg is going to come out on top' narrative. I don't see him as anything other than a bumbling fool.

He won’t come out on top because that’s just his character in the show. But he served his purpose by making sure Shiv didn’t come out on top.

Anybody else notice next weeks preview was all Roman??

The “bumbling fool” has been shown previously to be an act that he played up once he got a hold of playing the game.
He’s gone from puking out dodricks eyeballs to simultaneously being trusted by Mattsons side, Tom AND now being the lynchpin for Kendall and Roman.
Shiv and Greenpeace both learned you can’t underestimate young Gregory hirsch.

Greg's the only one beside Logan with some emotional IQ.
ETA: Logan was a bastard, yes, but rarely wrong in his measure of people and their desires.

Lets be honest. He was asked. It's not like he deceived anybody. But he knew Shiv had nothing to give by her resulting to threats.
She was weak and collateral to build trust at first opportunity.

There’s definitely some ideology with Shiv,
She's a raging liberal. Meets all the criteria.

I like sport and team specific subreddits on there but my god, most of the posters on there are completely unhinged when it comes to politics and economic issues

I didn’t mean that I wasn’t aware of the election. I was obviously going on, Conn and his race has been a hysterical plot line, but I don’t know if they ever setup the stakes and the characters well enough. When did this dude become some end of democracy villain? Seemed like a normal election until this episode, and that part kind of came out of nowhere
Also, I thought the when do we call it dynamic was super interesting. I bet those news rooms are wild on election night, and that was nutty to watch. However, do I really think the when did they call it who called it dynamic would be that controversial? Do I have a clue who makes that call and does who makes that call get reported on the news? Seemed a bit excessive
Still enjoyed overall
