What kind of plot movement were you looking for at this point?
I mentioned a couple of those myself, so I didn’t say there was zero. But a good bit of the stuff you mentioned was completely unnecessary (i.e. Hopper in Russia). The kids also began the season in Hawkins. So yeah spreading them out and getting them back together counts as “resolution.” But again, was it necessary? That’s kinda my point.
The Vecna stuff was good, (again) as I said earlier. I just could’ve done without his 15 minute speeches where he spells everything out methodically, that’s all.

Edit: I agree with many here that Mike is by far the worst actor. He has too many forced stutters and it just sounds fake and ruins the illusion.
And yes, Lucas’s sister is basically the Wanda Sykes of the series. Alway one note: loud, attitude, annoying, one liner queen.

I'm sure this isn't exactly breaking news, but Lucas's little sister is so annoying it's borderline distracting to the series. She kind of reminds me of Dee from "What's happening". Always hated that kid.

That's how I took it. Not just Mike even. Both Dusty and Lucas have girlfriends, so he's left out of a lot. Who knows, maybe he's just really socially awkward.. Maybe actually is a "friend of Dorothy".

I don't know, ever since Mike yelled at him "it's not my fault you don't like girls" earlier and he stormed off in the rain that he's definitely gay.

I assumed Will was gay but I could also see him just feeling left out and like he lost his best friend.
I just hope they don’t make it a big thing next season. Everyone has had a crush that didn’t return those feelings, especially at that age. No need to focus on it for an entire season.

I also think Will is gay. However, even with our current culture, it doesn't seem so weird. Robin is the character whose gayness seems more out of place. Growing up in a small town in the 70s, there were quite a few folks who turned out to be gay later...like in the late 80s or 90s and usually after they'd left the small town for a big city. Sure, they were gay all along, but not out by any means. However, looking back, they were all people who you sort of wondered about.
Will is just a bad actor. I think that makes everything about his character just hit wrong.
