I knew when they introduced that during that scene it was going to be a much bigger part of the overarching story. Not sure how but will probably play a part in restoring Hawkins

Also side note I'm really glad I skipped the trailer for vol 2. Went and watched it right after I finished episode 9 and there's so many spoilers in that trailer about what happens

Like I said, I think my only criticism of this season was the last scene with Vecna.
My dude Steve got to step up and kill the guy. Nancy can barely hold the shotgun and she kept shooting arms and shoulders. Just terrible all around.
You got the big bad on the ropes. You got to step up and put a bullet in his head or take the axe to the brain.
It'd have been better if he had just thrown them against the door and ran. Instead, they let Nancy make all that effort go to waste for Girl Power...and she couldn't get the job done.
I blame Nancy for everything from that point on. Its all on her and those two goobers.
They dropped the ball completely...and they just ignore that they did...galloping off like heroes...
