re: Stranger Things 3 Spoiler Thread
Finished episode 3.

The dialog is kind of annoying at times. People didn't say things like "it's a bad look" or "I got this" in 1985.

I don’t get the hate. I’m enjoying it more than Season 2

Just finished episode 4. I’m noticing the language too. The Jungle Book had the same problem.

Haven't heard 'virtue signalling' yet. It's a comin', I'm sure.

American pie by Don McClean is from the 70's, I'm sure.

Just finished the season, and I thought it was great. Really sad to see Hooper die. He was the best character on the show. I thought every episode just built on the last, and the ending was great. I hope they do a 4th season, but I wouldn’t be sad if the they didn’t.

I think it certainly sets up for a season 4.

I saw where David Harbour did an interview and he said the Duffer brothers left it more closed because they hated that they felt like they wrote themselves into a corner with S2 and bits of S3

Best season yet IMO. I mean, wow. I was never a huge fan of this show. I thought the first season was good. The second season was very meh for me. This season was HOLY shite good. The way it ended. Damn. Just really good TV. I don't know what to say. I'm surprised and did not expect this show to make it to this level.

Just a coincidence the mayor has the same color and hairstyle as Trump, right?

And hes portrayed as an a-hole? NOT A COINCIDENCE.

And he has shady ties to Russia?

I member when Trump supporters called people snowflakes. Good times.

You think the line "No, not the American" is about hopper?

I considered it a little unfortunate we didnt get more on his backstory. His death was sad, but they could have added a little more to add to the gravity of his death.

Only person I could think of it relating to. I mean they never showed anything happening to him and then the Russians happen to have an American captive. Maybe I’m wrong but that’s what I took it to be.

Spoiler

Hops jumped into the Crack before she blew it and found his way out of it in Russia. That's my guess.
