I think Steve is a year older than Nancy. He says something about getting a job working for his dad and being able to stay in Hawkins for her senior year.

I didn't have a "tear-jerker" moment this or last season, but I came pretty close to tearing up when Will starts crying telling his mom how scared he was after the shadow monster possessed him.

No, skip it. The side characters are pretty intolerable.

Summary: Dr. Brenner is supposedly still alive, Eleven learns how to control her powers better and decides she doesn't want to kill people, Eleven decides Hawkins is her new home

Only because the white kid said he couldn't be Winston.

Lucas's reasons for not being Winston were completely legit.

I have 2 daughters roughly the kids age. I almost lost my shite when Hopper tries to revive Will and they mix in the flashbacks of his daughter dying.

Just wrapped it up. Solid season overall, but not as good as the original. A slight sophomore slump, but very easily recoverable.

I do hope that next year they take a break from the Upside Down and focus more on the expanded universe. Should be lots more agencies, communists, maybe some nepharious people who have super powers, and all sorts of other things they can get into. Sure come back to it in Season 4, but there’s a lot outside of it that they can build upon.

I feared initially that Stranger Things was more finite in scope, but this season gave me faith that you could get at least 5 seasons out of this.

The whole thing was so SJW predictable. The scene at the dance where he walks away with the girl and the white boys are left holding their dicks and looking like losers had to make the progs squeal with delight.

Ok so the only black kid in town can’t have a crush on another chick? He’s a teenager for God’s sake. Someone could fall for his personality; it wasn’t like this is the 1920s. A chick could fall for him. I got no SJW vibes from it whatsoever.

And Will got a dance, Dustin is kind of... Dustin (you all knew that friend in school), and Mike was clearly being set up for Eleven to come in. Seems pretty organic to me.

Earlier on the series we got them arguing over Ghostbusters for another little race lesson.

OK, if my friends and I agreed to be a Ghostbusters quartet for Halloween and one of us just happened to be black, the other 3 of us would be expecting him to be Winston. I can understand why he would be pissed that he was expected to be the lamest character, but it would still be the expectation from most teenagers.

He's just one of those people who can't help but see things to be offended by wherever he looks. I thought about responding to it when I saw it this weekend, but it isn't worth it.

First of all Mike was waiting for El.
Second, do you think it's impossible for a white girl end up with a black guy? You're making it seem like it's some unrealistic and impossible scenario and they forced it in. Both Lucas and Dustin showed interest in her but Dustin ended up backing off. So it wasn't forced.

Some of you think everything has some motive. fricking pathetic.

I don't really see what Max and Billy added to the series.

Enjoyed the season, but you are right here, though I can see Billy moving beyond just being the a-hole guy (which looks to be mainly due to his abusive father). I felt like fast forwarding any scene Max was in - I think they brought her in just to have a girl around while Eleven was on the road.

At the dance, other kids weren't just left holding their dicks, the scene didn't end there but you might have had a panic attack because of this "SJW predictability" so maybe you missed where a girl asked Will to dance and Eleven was obviously gonna show up for Mike.

And a simple argument between 4 kids occurring because they figured the black kid would be the black character is a "race lesson?" People like you are just as annoying as the real SJWs

Finished the season tonight. Solid second season, not quite as good as the first. I was not a fan of the episode with eleven and her sister and their friends, basically a waste of an entire episode. It looks like it's been discussed in here already and if they are planning on making a spinoff show then I guess that was the incentive for the episode, However I wouldn't be that interested in it

Disappointed to see they are continuing with the Hawkins storyline. This series is perfect for transitioning to new storylines every season. Oh well.

I actually agree with that. It's not that I don't like the Hawkins group. I do like them. But it feels like their stories are over (save getting revenge on 'Papa') and now they're going to have to undo stuff. I like the idea of moving on so these stories can be put to rest.

Are you this fragile that you can't enjoy a tv show? You are reading wayyyy into both those scenes. And on top of that they were such minor parts that to then complain about them seems asinine.

I didn't hate the episode but I found it to be such a drastic change in mood and setting. I thought the group looked too much like bad Batman villains or something. Mohawk guy, insanely large guy with head tats, spaced-out loony chick.
