Best part was Modell offering Hopper his sandwich at the diner. That cracked me up.

Dude that’s classic 80’s filmmaking right there.

Think I’m halfway through S2. Unfortunately, it’s about half as good as S1

Did the demodogs grow out of Dart like Gremlins/Aliens or did they come out of the gate?

Dart was the larval stage of a demo dog and there were many separate instances of demodogs around Hawkins. At the end of Season 1 when Hopper and Joyce find Will in the Upside Down he has a "tube"/tentacle in his mouth.

They pull it out and it looks kind of snake/worm like as it slithers away. Then at the very end of the episode we see Will spit up the larval stage of Dart and it goes down the sink drain. I believe we also saw one of these larvae coming out of dead Barb's mouth in the Upside Down. How this parasite worm is related to the Demogorgon or Demodog is not clear.

Great final episode, but where do they go from here? A new opening to the upside down would be a bit contrived.

I really think they could step away from the Upsidedown/monsters theme and be okay. Maybe focus on the lab and what all was going down before it was closed. How many kids were gifted and where are they? Is Dr. Brenner actually alive and continuing his work somehow?

Just finished it. Still don’t know what happened to Barb. All I know is that she’s dead now.

Brenner's fate being open ended is interesting.

I can't believe the show ever tried to make people root for Jonathan over Steve in any way

This season was quite a let down from season 1. Samwise, Madmax, and Joe Dirt were all worthless characters that brought nothing new to the show. Episode 7 was completely pointless. El basically did nothing until the last episode. One of the main things that worked about season 1 was the interaction between El and the boys, especially Mike, and they basically scrapped that this season. Hopper is ok but the focus being mostly on the adults brought this season down. The story works better when its mostly about the kids.

Steve looks like the kid we hated in the 80s movies but he is actually very likeable.
Can't believe Nancy likes Jonathan. He's a slimey looking peeping tom and he can't use a gun to save his life.. He looks in his thirties but is really 23, has a kid with his Asian ex and has been busted for cocaine. The kicker is Nancy is dating him IRL.

The Stranger Things kids would be in their 40s if they ever did a season in present time. I could see them doing this similar to It Part 2.

How did the producers think anyone would like episode 7? Every review I've read pans it. Not only were the outcasts unlikable, it had very little nostalgic moments.

Another awesome season of Stranger Things.

Everyone is a critic now, relax, enjoy. All the people working on this show are doing a great job, including those scoring the show.

Mr. Bob was a great character. I would've like him to stay on but it added to the drama for someone to die, so I applaud them for killing him off. I don't think he's ever died on screen before.

All the kids actors do a great job. I like Mike, he comes across as very real. They all do.

Bravo ST2, when's season 3 dropping.
