Very interesting thriller/horror flick with some amazing acting by Willa Fitzgerald. In a just world, she'd get a look for an Oscar for her performance but I don't think she will get a sniff because the nature of the film. She deserves it though. Incredible performance, an interesting story, lots of twists and turns. I highly recommend checking it out when it comes to streaming or if you can catch one of the sparse showtimes in theaters.

No love for this gem of a thriller?

Willa Fitzgerald has been killing it lately. Fall of the House of Usher and now this movie. Always enjoyed her in the scream tv series as well
Hopefully this gets her more prominent work

Just finished this movie. Really enjoyed it. More than I thought I would tbh. I had a couple of minor quibbles, but all in all I thought it was very well done, and will recommend it to friends.

Haven't watched it yet. But it's in my watchlist folder with all my other movie downloads that I haven't watched yet.

Same. At first it felt like a cheap Tarantino knock-off, but as it revealed itself I enjoyed it a lot more. May not be totally original, but it was clever and effective storytelling.
And finally a trailer that doesn't give it all away.

One of my favorite movies this year. Looks fantastic, shot in 35mm. Giovanni Ribisi produced it and did the cinematography for it.

Thanks for the rec. had never heard of it before but just rented it, and it was damn good.

Maybe next time, give a synopsis and link a trailer and you will probably get more responses. Remember, we all are lazy and don't feel like looking up shite.

I hear you but I feel like trailers give too much away too often so I tend to avoid them. This is also a film where knowing less about it going in works much better for the overall experience. My goal is to highlight films in a way to give the viewer the max amount of enjoyment from viewing. Impactful surprise is paramount to a film like this.

Agreed, this is the kind of movie it’s much better not to see the trailer. I watched trailer beforehand in this thread, and once I saw that it was full of twists I pretty much knew where it was going. I still loved it and all, but if I hadn’t watched the trailer it would’ve been an even bigger mind frick.

Really liked it. Went in blind and was very surprised how it turned out.
Spoilers
Right at the scene where you think it’s about to be a violent rape scene with her handcuffed on the bed, my wife walked in the room. Awkward.

Damn wives always seem to walk in at those parts

Best movie I've seen this year. Incredible storytelling and great performances by the two leads.
