Have to agree with big NO on Arrow. It was pretty good until the shift change in the team. I mean Curtis has fricking fair play on his sleeves.

List of Smallville alumni in Supergirl:

Laura Vandervoort (Supergirl) - plays Brainiac 8

Dean Cain (Vandal Savage) - plays Jeremiah Danvers

Helen Slader (Lara El) - plays Eliza Danvers

Lynda Carter (Moira Sullivan) - President Marsden

Also, Michael Ironside, who played Gen. Lane on Smallville, is Leonard Snart's father.

Is it streaming on something? I watched it a few years ago by recording off of TNT but they don't seem to be showing it anymore. I thought it was a decent show, the first season though was pretty bad, some earlier episodes are a straight ripoff off Buffy iirc but it picked up is seasons 2 on

I never understood why they didn't throw a bunch of money at Welling and Rosenbaum to bring them to the big screen and kick off the DCEU at that point. Luthor was perfectly brought from hero to villain. While Durance was a good small screen Lois, she most likely couldn't make the move to the big screen but Chloe could have made the move as Watchtower and I liked the guy who was cast as oliver in smallville but Arrow is supposed to be good too (never seen it).

I kind of lost interest around season 5, but I had enjoyed it up until that point. Rosenbaum and Welling were fantastic.

It's a damn shame we will never get them on screen together as Lex and Clark.

I didn't care too much for the band , but there was a great ending of an episode were you saw lex flip and they played "kiss my eyes" by AFI. Very well done.

As far as the production of a tv show, Supergirl has way better special effects due to better technology and far more experienced actors making it a better show. Smallville has the superior content and story line. I also like Clark's heat vision better than Kara's on Supergirl.

Btw, I'm a big, big fan of Supergirl.

Early seasons Kristen Kruek FTW

Too bad she went completely downhill and turned into a whiner that was ruining Clark and fricking his mind up.

Not to Lois yet, but she is the GOAT Lois BY FAR.

Why the hell couldn't they get rid of Amy Adams and put Erica Durance in there?

I fully believe that Superman and Lois Lane are the most mismatched relationship in comic book history and yet this is one of those rare instances where it can work but that is only because it is solely focused on Clark Kent and Lois Lane as Superman doesn't yet exist and Lois is responsible for pushing Clark to become Superman and provided the final moral background to do so. It's a pretty well done story for those two.

But with that said, the Smallville version of this relationship is a rarity and outside of the norm because Lois is usually a crazy woman that's practically a cleat chaser as far as Superman is concerned and doesn't give a shite about Clark Kent and she's pretty self centered and entitled because she knows that Superman will always be there to get her out of whatever shite storm she's in at the moment.

This. It felt like I was watching Superman and Lex interact, but at the same time understood they weren't there yet. And while the show had its pitfalls, the Clark/Lex dynamic and how they're both sort of responsible for how the other turns out is kinda a really good tragic tale when you think about it.

If they ever did Bizarro in the DCEU I think Welling should play him. This way Cavill doesn't have to pull double duty and you get a nice throwback to Smallville. It'll be fine for Bizarro to not look EXACTLY like Supes.

As many times as I have watched the show this is my observations.

Best season is 4
Worst season is 7 ( writers strike that year)

Best episode is Rosetta with Reeves
Worst episode is power

Things I loved

The Kent family dynamic
The luthor family dynamic
Lex and Clark
Lois
Oliver
The introduction of characters like green arrow and braniac etc
Lex and Lionel
Lois and Clark
Chloe
The episodes like justice and the justice society
The guess stars they got like reeve and kidder
Every episode has a moral, cheesey sometimes, but I still loved it.
Red k clark
Introduction of new powers
Loved Phil Morris as Martian manhunter get

Things I hated
Making doomsday part human
Chloe and David blooms
Killing Jimmy
Pa Kent dying and not Lana
Bringing lana back from Paris
Lex and Lana
Tess and zod having sex in Clark's barn no less
Lana being a witch
I hated the no flight rule. Everyone flew before clark. Hah
The whole lana is super upped with kryptonite. They always tried to make lana more than she was.

I'm sure I can tell u anything about the show. I loved it.

One of the best series finales of all time.

I didn't stop smiling from the moment Clark was presented with the suit by Jor-El until the end.

I must have watched it 5 times in a row.
