Just got out
I wanted to love it so bad but I ended up giving it a solid B
It's entertaining and worth seeing for sure.
It kills me to say this, but I felt like it was more similar to the prequels then the other 4 in terms of wooden acting, forced humor, and predictability.
I'm gonna see it again to make sure
Oh yeah. Finn is the most worthless character in history

but save for the first captain America, i don't hate any marvel movie as much as this...i'm not bullshitting you.
TH03 and i hate each other, we both think the other complains about dumb shite, we're complaining about the same shite... that's a red flag

i cannot tell you why, I've been explicitly clear though they have 4 separate plot threads in the movie...so it's disjointed
(with the exception of driver and ridley) the acting is really bad, now tough to say if it's the acting because the lines are really bad.
they tell you everything, show you nothing. everything you know about the characters you have to be explicitly told like you have a double digit IQ, even things we already know.
the gag humor is the worst I've ever seen, it just destroys every scene...some of them would have been unbelievably good...like the opening scene which save for the gag humor is really good, but you tell me after you see it if the comedy undermines the scene

he was off and on...the lines they gave him were the problem, Hamill is talented.

The IMDB reviews are cutting it apart. It still has an 8.1 rating over there, though, but you have to wonder how much of that is also Disney manufactured.
