Pretty much. What is sad about it is that there are so many little snippits of a good movie in there. There are so many parts of a good premise. I actually liked the whole assassination plot and the spy v. spy dynamic of it. I liked Obi-Wan playing gum shoe detective.

With a better actor for Anakin and less crappy CGI in favor of real sets and puppets/costumes, that portion of the movie could have worked.

However, the love story portion on Naboo is some of the worst scenes put to film, and the whole thing seems to come unraveled somewhere around the trip to Kamino. By the time the genocide of the Sand People and the Geonosis stuff hits, it just keeps digging a deeper and deeper hole.

How the whole Clone army was discovered, yet no one questioned it stuff simply didn't sit well with me.

Attack of the Clones is the most aggravating movie I've ever seen.

The Last Jedi is simply nowhere in the same stratosphere of that movie gaff wise.
