These two sentences don't fit.

meh, I'll watch the original trilogy the week before release, and maybe episode three. I hated the second trilogy.

we did it for return of the jedi in the 80s. I couldn't sit still for all three movies.

I plan to do a slow marathon over 2 months.

I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. By the time you got to a good movie you would be drooling on yourself trying to remember why you even went to the theater.

I remember doing this in the 90s.

I may do ANH and ESB.

That's a great idea. My wife and I go to the local AMC that shows Sunday early afternoon movies for $5 per ticket. I think I will count back six Sundays from the 18th and start marathoning one per week leading up to seeing the new one on the 20th.

sounds like a great plan to me. Not sure how I will do it, b.c we watch movies irregularly. The wife is up for ANH/ESB, but said meh to the rest of them.

Watched episode III recently. I forgot how bad and cringe-worthy the dialogue is.

Damn that sounds tiring. I can't do anything for that long in a row. That's gotta be 21 hours of movies in a row right? Hell I'd get bored of getting my dick sucked if it was for 21 hours in a row

I don't give a frick what my wife does or doesn't want in this specific situation. It is what it is as far as she is concerned.

You're welcome to come and join us in our theater room on Sunday's at 1pm for the lead up. The A/V setup could receive a THX certification if they would come and evaluate it.

I've been watching The Clone Wars and just finished the last seven episodes of Season Five. It's two separate story arcs involving Darth Maul and the Emperor and Anakin's patawan, Asoka.

Both were better stories than anything out of the prequels.

that is 15.55 hours of straight Star Wars. I think I'll just watch them from home leading up.

My kids have been watching them 24x7 since I introduced them a few months ago. My 3 yo son is obsessed. Walks around all day humming the imperial March. He won't stop.
