I think there is more to it than this. I remember in the flash back they showed Kylo killing someone in particular and then standing with the Knights of Ren who had no place in this movie other than that. They must be somewhere.. or something.
Im thinking that whatever caused Kylo to go darkside might have caused a certain Luke Skywalker to break a little inside and disappear.. possibly going through what The Exile went through before Kotor 2. He broke his own bond to the force in guilt and sadness.
Just a theory based on very little.

It's Andy Serkis and it was a hologram. I trust any CGI character he portrays. Out of the Top 10 CGI characters, at 4 were portrayed by him.

I know who the actor was and I agree with using him. The mouth and expressions looked cheap to me. He looked silly.

Still, Driver was great. Opinions will be split on him. Mainly because he was on Girls and no one will take him seriously. If he was beloved on this board and an Oscar nominee, people who hate him would love his acting.

Good movie. I throughly enjoyed it. Hated to see Han die... You could see Rey's anger as she battled Kylo. I'm looking forward to the Luke v. Kylo showdown.

I'm with most I hated Solo dying but felt it coming. I also think Ren/Rey are cousins. It felt early on they set up Poe as kind of the new Solo.

I didn't think Driver was terrible. He projected his internal struggle, his insecurities, his desires, rage, and ultimately he makes us hate his character.

They recycled and remixed some expanded universe story lines so those idiots who clung to them being canon can at least know that they weren't completely forgotten.

I think you're letting your hatred for Girls cloud your judgement. You're just being a troll at this point. Driver was fine.
