Some other moments I found interesting.
Kylo fighting an enemy who has a non-energy weapon (vong/Grisk?)
What/who is fixing his helmet? FO/Empire types are typically against any alien species.
Jet troopers!?
This may be some sort of training. One would think he be firing on her otherwise?

Episode 8 does lip service to the gray.
The only thing that is resolved, is a ton of meaningless sacrifices that accomplish nothing.
And the timeless wisdom of Rose
And Leia Poppins.
And world-breaking Yoda who can now force lightning from beyond the grave. Why not just have the force ghosts March through the First order. . .force-choking all those bitches?
And Holdo the purple-haired giraffe. :yak:

If Disney wanted to make a load cash they would do a Thrawn trilogy or go in the direction I had hoped was to bring the Yuuzhan Vong to the big screen.

Just for visual scale reference,

Note- you hardly see any curve on the Death Star, it still looks flat

So, going up the ladder in scale- that dish is gigantic on a scale your eyes just aren't going to accept. I'd say quite honestly, that chunk of Death Star should be towering over a mountain range, and you wouldn't be able to breath without a mask if you climbed even halfway up.

You know what the worst part is?
The good in that trailer got me excited. That's what really sucks. Luke is alive and Kylo hunts down Palpatine? Awesome.
But I hate Rey and all of the characters and story lines from TLJ so much I just can't stay excited.
As many of us have said, Abrams needs to retcon all of TLJ out of existence in the beginning of the movie. It's the best way to move on.
