You're going to seriously try to retcon the importance of Luke out of Star Wars?

Luke: I am a Jedi, like my father before me.
Palpatine: So be it... Jedi!

People always misrepresent my position.

Rian is a fine director to tell his own story.

He was a terrible choice to tell a story people are already heavily invested in. . .

I to think he is going to have a fantastic trilogy

Do not want Palpatine back. Wasn’t the whole point of the original triology (and prequels) that Anakin/Vader was the chosen one and he fulfilled to prophecy of destroying the Sith when he killed the Palpatine?

No. It's about saving what we love and the power of women. . Haven't you seen Rose, and Rey, and Holdo?

I'll wait till the user reviews on RT come out

If they suck like they did with Solo, then I'll skip it

Yeah, I'd sure hate to be worth billions of dollars and credited for creating one of the most iconic film series in history

Get better at trolling.

Disney should invite Rian Johnson to the premier as their special honored guest. When he gets to the address they give him it's like when Tommy arrives to garage from Goodfellas. His expectations would totally be subverted!

My thoughts as well. It was prophesied that he would bring balance to the force and he did by killing the Jedi and the Sith.

It's not great, but I'll take it over Attack of the Clones.

I thought episode 8 was just an average movie but get a kick out of all the grown arse men who act like it retroactively ruined their childhood.

What is Disney’s obsession with recycling storylines?

Luke is very important, but anyone who comes away from the original trilogy thinking he’s the centerpiece of the story missed the point. At its core, OG Star Wars is the redemptive arc of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader and Luke is a part of that.

Money is meaningless when you have it and George Lucas is the worst thing to happen to Star Wars since it was created.

Of course a "fan" like you would embrace that, though.

It's Abrams. That's what he's capable of.
