That's another good choice from television.
Another would be The Shield - Bawitdaba (Kid Rock) for the concluding scene of the pilot. That's the point when you knew it was going to be a different kind of show.
For a sitcom, it is tougher - but the entire series of WKRP (at least with the original music) was one of the very best - kind of a merger of the film F.M. with M*A*S*H and the Mary Tyler Moore Show, a series based around an AOR/Top 40 station in the 70s had to have good music.
One of the best examples from WKRP is Hot Blooded - Foreigner, while the nerdy newsman Les Nessman was suiting up for his date with Jennifer (the hot blonde receptionist played by Loni Anderson) to include a Shatner-esque "hair helmet" hairpiece. Great television...
