You mean like Cupid Ye, Japanese Toilet, Dikinbaus Hot Dogs, or Spring Break?
Only 2 of 6 episodes last season were based on current events (ChatGPT and Worldwide Privacy Tour)

And we're 2 for 2 in the current season....

You sound like me 15 years ago. Breesus was also posting this back then too in the South Park threads.
I’ve given up hope on that. As long as it’s funny, that’s all I care about.

The episode had a couple of decent laughs but not much else. The Noem stuff was lame, the running 'master-debater' gag was lame and you can meme Vance all you like. It only makes him stronger.
Also, they do a lot more rehashing of old material than they used to do, the bank guy being the latest addition. The rest is just the kind of easy target stuff that made 'conservative' comedy so lame for so long.

Conservatives just need to keep leaning into it and not being bothered. It'll cause one of two things:
(1) It causes it to be unfunny and South Park moves on from making the easy conservative jokes or
(2) South Park digs their heels in and goes overboard with it and loses the perceived neutrality of the show and becomes what everyone else is on the far left.

Wait, so we ARE relevant?
South Park begging for relevance on Twitter is lame. Glad to see they're getting skewered in the replies for giving it but not being able to take it.
ETA: Whole lot of coping and melting itt because I told the truth.

I don't think you get it.
It was a jab at the White House who claimed that South Park hasn't been relevant "in 20 years" after the first episode, and then all of a sudden DHS is using screenshots from last night's episode in an ad for ICE.
They just signed a deal for $1.5 Billion dollars. Anybody claiming that the show is irrelevant is delusional.
