Are there really guys over the age of 12 who get offended by penis jokes?
At least one that we know of...

That first episode was their best episode in years. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

He's the easiest ever to make fun of.

They're also bating Trump so hard and he or at least the White House responded. The fact that the president and the White House is commenting at all on a South Park episode shows how batshit all of this is and Matt and Trey love it.
They also clearly think there's some fishy shite over the Colbert firing given what Jesus said so they also want to see if they can get Trump or the FCC to frick with Paramount because they are pretty pissed off at Paramount right now

I think the last post was the first response I’ve had to you, so I don’t think anything I said you should be assuming is being applied to you
There is a lot of grouping here, and I can see it. Trumpkins crying in every thread.
I'm just drive-by on this. Can't understand their own ridiculousness.
I need a Biden penis sons.

After decades of poking fun of the extremes on both sides of the aisle (i.e. giant douche vs turd sandwich), do we really think that Matt Stone and Trey Parker are ardent defenders of one of the most extreme leftists out there in Colbert?
I have to imagine that at some point, this season, Matt and Trey flip it on the people suddenly praising them just because of the Trump portrayal and make fun of them in some kind of way.

Man you must not be aware of many left wingers if you think Colbert is extreme
It has way more to do with Paramount than Colbert

There is no easier target for someone who works for a large media corporation than a white male Republican. None.
There is no easier target for a dick joke than someone so self-conscious that they defend their dick size during a presidential debate. The man's skin is measured in angstroms, and all the significant digits are right of the decimal point.

Guess this season will be Trump-centric. It’s nice to see them take on a refreshing, new topic that no one has made fun of before.

Apparently some of his followers here share that trait, judging by them still complaining and being preemptively upset for the rest of the season

I'm glad Matt and Trey have the ability to cash out here. They had a good run.

Did anyone watch the episode last night? Was it good?

Where would you place him on the spectrum?
I'd put him closer to the extreme left than left of center due to how he used the Late Show to promote any leftist politician and their views that would go on his show. He's also had some pretty far left views:
quote:
A report has emerged that the White House is planning to “define transgender out of existence” by insisting that gender can only be decided at birth “on a biological basis … grounded in science”. “Oh, now you care about science?” he joked. “Wow, how convenient.”
Colbert added: “Gender is clearly a spectrum, we know this.”
quote:
"Biden is also in the news today because he issued an executive order allowing temporary border closure to migrants, and it’s being called the most restrictive border policy instituted by any modern Democrat,” Colbert said as he got to the topic.
“That is a tough needle to thread, being an anti-immigration liberal, Colbert continued. “So we’re going to seal the border folks, but the wall is going to be gluten free, and the barbed wire will be pro-choice.”
Then there was the whole song and dance about the COVID vaccine.

Every new melt in this thread is just proving why Matt and Trey went for it.

If it was going to turn into another season of that, I was going to be very disappointed as they have already beaten that horse to death.
And as I’ve said in the last thread, this a far more honest and South Park-like take. The Garrison thing sucked from the start and never really should have been the approach. I’m far more interested in seeing how far and how long they’re willing to go with this concept knowing that it’s getting a direct reaction from Trump and the White House. I think they want Trump to try to cancel them (for a variety of reasons) and I’m really entertained by seeing of they can goad him into doing so.
As much as I loved episode 1, I don't want a whole Trump centered season.
The Garrison thing was great for a few episodes but it got stale quickly. "Where My Country Gone" and the episode where he was shite tweeting at North Korea was gold. His relapse episode was funny too, but overall it got boring.
Trump's reaction is going to make them keep making the jokes though, they love getting the reactions from people.

I'm not sure you know what a melt is.
I think the Trump stuff can be funny with South Park and the most recent one was. The problem is if they keep going to it and beat it to death like Garrison as Trump. It's way too early to worry about that after only one episode, though.
I just don't think Matt and Trey particularly care for a guy like Colbert, whose life revolves around politics, enough to come out and strongly defend him.

Understanding the difference between gender and sex is literally something outlined in the AMA. Also vaccines are safe. Regardless all of this is getting way off of track
