The OG cast will just be the hook for another bait and switch. It’ll be about their woke and diverse children or some dumb shite like that.

They are definitely going to make Judd Nelson a cuckold and Rob Lowe in a throuple with two other men

Nelson was the Republican guy right? He’ll be a converted cuck whose strong wife and daughter changed him. Lowe will be some deadbeat dad who offs himself for liking women when he was younger.

He just worked for a Republican Senator because he said it paid more....but he was President of the young Democrats at Georgetown....So his character would probably now be like TyT.
Well, they're gonna have to moan about something, that's basically the plot of the movie...and drinking and smoking.
Pretty good guess what they will woe is the world as now they are liberal Sexagenarians.

Judd Nelson wouldn't even do the brat pack documentary, doubt he'll do this.

Idea sounds terrible but it's been two decades since he's been in a movie that might be released in theaters so I doubt your doubt.

What is Judd Nelson like in real life?

The timing of this announcement right after the Brat Pack doc is curious indeed.

3 of the people wouldn’t do the documentary because they want nothing to do with it, including Judd and Molly

Maybe Sony thinks they can cash in on that 80's nostalgia, like Top Gun & Karate Kid. Can't really blame them, I suppose.

They might change their stance for a seven figure payday versus doing Andrew McCarthy a solid on his psychotherapy experiment.

No, just a job climber.
He worked for a dem congressman, then took a job with a republican senator for more money.
Just watched this last night.

Eh... The most interesting people in the film were Demi and Rob Lowe, and to a lesser extent Mare Winningham and McCarthy.
Judd never really seemed to fit with the rest of them.
Demi and Lowe also seem like the two who would be most willing to do it because they were such big stars in other ventures and seem to have a great sense of humor about that era.
Now, I also don't think 55-60 yr olds moping about first woeld limousine liberal problems in a melodrama is exactly a hit formula in 2024, but what the hell! It's better than lesbian space witches!
