Apparently the Droogs made it into Space Jam 2... maybe Ready Player One.... but what?! A Clockwork Orange is probably the greatest hardcore movie ever made... I mean I’m not for Cancel Culture but someone decided it’d be a good idea to add Alex DeLarge into a Looney Tunes movie but somehow Pepe Lepew is too vile for the movie?..... What in the actual frick?!

Alex DeLarge may be the most despicable lead character in cinematic history... but Pepe LePew is way worse than him?! They decide an actual serial rapist and murderer is more appropriate than Pepe LePew. Give me Pepe LePew’s entire filmography over Alex’s “Singing in the Rain” scene (can’t post since I sure as shite would be permanently banned). Clockwork Orange is one of the greatest films ever made, but we’re fricked as a culture if we say that is socially acceptable but Pepe LePew and Speedy Gonzalez aren’t. Hey this movie is for kids man!

Ready Player One this would be fine especially since they highly referenced the Shining (best scene in the film). But saying we removed Pepe LePew for being too vile and yet allow debatably the most vile main character ever in a great film in the movie... yeah, that’s fricking ridiculous. Only Patrick Bateman on the top of my head is in the debate for being as vile as Alex.

Maybe that's why they had to tone down Lola's sexiness.

"And the first thing that flashed into my gulliver was that I'd like to have her right down there on the floor with the old in-out, real savage."

I guess Looney Tunes needed a bit of the old ultraviolence. This is the only way I'm watching this movie:

My problem with this is the cartoons never made what he did acceptable. Like every female was disgusted and trying to get away.

That doesn't seem to be promoting rape culture. If anything, it showed little boys what not to do to pick up women.

People who react this way when someone points out hypocrisy are a large reason why our society is screwed. Dude isn't calling to cancel the film, Clockwork Orange, Pepe Le pew, or anything else. He's pointing out how cancel culture makes no sense and is inherently hypocritical.

Not going to show the rape scene (which is the most notorious rape scene in cinematic history), but this guy and his three Droogs are more acceptable now than Pepe LePew: YouTube

They haven’t removed Pepe from anything. He’s just not coming back for the sequel. He’s still in the HBO Max Looney Tunes selection. They’re just not making new cartoons with him. And as shitty as this movie looks, this is one Frenchman that is happy to see Pepe nowhere near it.

I honestly thought this was mainly because he was a skunk and he stank.

100% serious.

They threw him out due to sexism and they threw in the most prolific and memorable rapist in cinematic history.

EDIT: Which by the way during the brutal rape scene one of the guys was doing a Daffy Duck impression. Pepe is removed and the Droogs are added?

i'm going to go out on a limb and say this character wouldn't have the amount of screentime that pepe would have. still dumb to have pepe removed though.

They removed Pepe for being a Predator.... and they add not only a serial rapist to the film but the most well known rapist in cinematic history... Alex is a particularly sick human being.
