Seriously. A Clockwork Orange is in my Top 30 films. It is a masterpiece... BUT Alex and his Droogs are disgusting animals that should be shot in the head. In cinematic history, they’re uniquely bad people. Everyone would choose to hang with the guys in Goodfellas over the Droogs. And Pepe is worse than them within the eyes of the movie? Society has lost its fricking mind.

I honestly thought this was mainly because he was a skunk and he stank.

The bit was a black cat would walk through a freshly painted fence or somehow wind up with a white stripe down her back. Pepe would see her and think she was a female skunk and he would fall in love.

She was trying to avoid him because he was a completely different species, and even small children know that animals of different species don't "date" or breed with one another. She knew she was a cat but Pepe thought she was a skunk.

Calling out hypocrisy us being a bitch now?

I'll never understand this thinking.

Irreversible competes with it, as does The Accused and Leaving Las Vegas, but Clockwork Orange wins based on notoriety.

Not sure a one frame cameo in the background of a trailer confirms what you're saying it does.

Sorry, guys. My fault for bringing attention to what is clearly a harmless, knowing Easter egg in the trailer thread.

Fair enough. Not disagreeing with OP BTW. I just thought the way he went about the post was way too whiney for me.

I just watched this movie for the first time based on this thread, and there are worse people in cinema than this guy.

I’m not disagreeing with you, but I have a feeling a lot of people won’t even recognize this guy when/if they watch the movie. I wouldn’t have known who it was if you hadn’t have pointed it out.

Its just odd that they would put in the Droogs in a kids movie who brutally raped a woman, preached ultra-violence and it was banned in Britain.

This over a cartoon skunk?

I have no problem with Clockwork because its a movie and art and Kubrick.

But to have a problem with a horny fake cartoon skunk but put this in the movie! OP bas a point. What is that about?

Awwwww, you hated me for asking if anyone saw the Fury Road wild boy or the Droogs in another thread? I trigger you that easily? I feel so special.

Talking bout trailer -- bad.
Starting entire thread about some blink-and-you'll-miss-it nonsense in a trailer for stupid movie -- good. Got it.

I met Joffrey once at a bar in Dallas... and it’s really weird meeting him. I’m not exaggerating when I say this, but he’s one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. He was apparently working on a puppet show involving a family of bears, which may be the least Joffrey thing I’ve ever heard. He was hanging with some of his friends from Britain so didn’t speak with him for too long, but Jack Gleeson is as nice as he’s rumored to be in Hollywood.

They stopped making new speedy gonzales cartoons years ago, but there was no message boards around for people to find reasons to get fake outraged about everything so it went by without any smoke.
