Jimmy Fallon
Kenan Thompson (I’ll never understand how he’s so beloved and the longest-tenured member)
Horatio Sans
Tracy Morgan
Leslie Jones

Jimmy Fallon could never play the straight guy and would just laugh at the other SNL members in the sketch.

And when Fallon was supposed to be the funny guy in the sketch he'd just laugh at himself.

I think she is awesome and hot, and I hate SNL.

Considering his specialty is playing awkward weirdos, this doesn't really matter.

Chris Farley because he stole every scene he was ever in by his natural awesomeness.

That made it impossible for him to be the normal person.

The people who grew up with All That and Kenan & Kel are now in their 30's and love nostalgia.

That's literally the only thing I can think of. I don't watch it much anymore, but when I do he is consistently one of the worst I've ever seen on the show. Yet he is absolutely beloved almost universally. It's very strange to me.

Not even his Big Papi or Lamar Ball? Hell even Family Feud?

He has some bits that work well with his comedic style, but I agree that most of them absolutely don't work. He doesn't seem either capable or willing to adapt his delivery to fit the skit.

The writers they've had for most of his tenure suck complete arse at writing for him, partially because he's got such a limited delivery. Jay Pharoah was equally ignored but a much more talented performer.

You'll notice that any time Mulaney comes back and hosts, there's always like 2 great skits with Kenan, because he loves him and is an actually talented writer. I swear Mulaney just shows up with a dozen sketches he's written himself when he hosts, the quality is measurably better for everything but the inevitably political cold open and Weekend Update.

Agree on both accounts...this is my main complaint with him. He's Kenan in every skit. Every single one. His stupid, smirky, yell-different-syllables delivery ins omnipresent. And it's so distracting to me that it takes away from almost every sketch he's in.

Came in to post Horatio. Worst performer of that group by a large margin

She is not at all believable as a normal person. In other words, someone who can fade into a background.

He's definitely overrated. What's Up With That was a skit I never understood why it was funny.

That said, he was pretty solid in the old Scared Straight skits.
