the point is that it explains why she is the way she is in the show that we get to view. Presumably, earlier in their lives they were perfectly happy together and we even get glimpses of it in a couple flashbacks. It's not like she's always been a mega bitch, just like he hasn't always been a meth dealer.
Once he got cancer, lied about it, refused free treatment, lied up adn down and sideways every day to her, then ultimately admitted that yes, he is manufacturing meth, all of thsoe are just more pieces to the puzzle of why she acts the way she does.
It's not a "victim scorecard" it is literally explaining the reason why she acts the way that she does.

I've only watched the first episode of Breaking Bad, so I can't comment on her throughout the show, but the fact that she only offers him an unenthusiastic handjob on his birthday while she plays on eBay is enough for me to know she's a terrible person.

I've found that if I fast forward through all of her scenes the series is better.

Adjust? The show is 20 years old. What new informaiton would I need to adjust to? On the contrary, it's the other side of the argument people that just saw others parrot that she's the worst character of all time and then steadfastly hold to it, despite being shown (by me, and plenty of others) that they are the ones far overreacting.
And on that note I'd love to know...what exactly do y'all want from her? Like what do you point to specifically that makes her so bad? Beucase over the course of the series she switches between two extremes. Eaerly on she acts EXACTLY as any normal, real life, actual wife/mother would in the situation she's in. So points for realism out of the gates, which is mainly when people start hating her because she wont' get off walt's back. THen she does a complete about face and now joins in this bonnie and clyde sorta setup where she's helping walt, she's laundering money, she's keeping the feds off their case, she's keeping hank at bay, etc. Realism points are gone but now she's cool becuase she's helping our guy.
So again, what is it precisely that makes her so bad? I'd be willing to bet almost anything that if she was played by sydney sweeney or margot robbie people wouldn't hold the same opinion.

This is another reason why Breaking Bad is behind the Wire for me for best show of all time. Breaking Bad has 3 bad main characters. Skylar, Walt Jr, and Marie.

the wire doesn't have any flaws that's why it's the greatest tv show ever created. McNulty is a goat. What a retarded statement to make

McNulty is great and it’s a better show than Breaking Bad but The Wire def has flaws. Mainly the final season, the newspaper and fake serial killer storyline which was absolute shite.
