quote:Yes, and I don’t remember the exact number, but they said something along the lines of the other carrier groups carried out ~35 sorties that night without incident. The USS Nimitz carried out one sortie (Charlotte’s) and guess who was personally on board the carrier? Mr. big bad AI tech bro.
It was the aircraft carrier that his sister and her squadron were assigned to.

I'm enjoying this show and was anticipating season 3 starting. Good plot twists this season. Did not expect Judge Sims to join the good guys or for Mayor Holland to be alive

Is the Silo nowhere near as old as they think it is?

Are Silo and Severance a shared universe?

I think they’ve referenced its age multiple times. At least 300 years old.

Something off about the guy in S3E2 talking about the mines and how they calculated them to be 300+ years old based on the time it took to dig out. Can't remember if they made direct reference to the age of the Silo before then.

Found this show on Amazon Prime Video where they had season 1. Binged msot of that on the plane for our vacation a week ago. Of course I get back and have to get an Apple TV sub to finish and just got caught up. I would the first few episodes on this season dragged a little but they have picked back up for sure.

Anybody have an idea who is stealing the lightbulbs?

Apple released a free ebook as a companion for the show. This is not related to the actual books, so it is spoiler-free for those that haven’t read them.
Sim’s Journal - Apple Books

That would make for quite a crossover.

Bernard mentioned it to Lucas in season 2. Bernard told Lucas that the silos were built 352 years ago

i suspect the mining crew.
i have read no spoilers or books so all my posts are show based speculation.
now that theres finally some conversation that isn't "Common bad", what are we thinking here.... AI determined the best way to preserve humanity was to poison the earth and put 10,000 people each into Silo's , because killing 10k people at once with a Safeguard if things get squirrely is less death than Iran and America lobbing nukes at each other?

I am the opposite, I have only watched the show but I will start reading them books once I clear out some other books.
The books are far better than the show. I havent watched season 2 but heard it was AI controlling the silo or something? Dogshit. The first season was also complete dogshit compared to the book.

Miners might've made contact with another Silo.

So this is what I'm gathering thus far-
AI ended up taking over somehow and destroyed Earth for insert X reason.
They have some memory altering drug that allowed them to create the silos and have the inhabitants forget about the outside world except for a select few?
They will kill off any silo that find this out?
There are dozens if not hundreds of silos. They probably all preform some task that is necessary or they are all self sustaining.

Has it been determined if this skyline matches up to any known city?

Are the people in the silos the only living human beings left on planet Earth? Or is only a portion of the globe uninhabitable?
