Jared's story about owning a stuffed animal. Jared is the best every week.

I wasn't a fan of him joining the group early in the first season. But man, he is incredible. The show revolves around him in so many ways.

I really laughed when they told the story of him moving the pool a few feet and then deciding the builder was correct and moved it back.

"Russ was right" was really funny.

I also really liked seeing the buildup of Richard getting mad about the tab versus spaces and the girl antagonizing him with hard space clicks.

Did anyone else notice they ordered a virgin margarita and Erlich was adding tequila from a bottle to each glass?

Erlich used that Tres Comas tequila.
Three Commas.

The tequila that Russ created.

yeah, me and my girl were talking about how much a virgin margarita would actually cost to start with plus having to add your own tequila.

Did anyone think Gavin Belson was hilarious in this episode?

Like threatening those people for doing that then taking it back, then seeing if he actually could?

And it makes sense Jared does all that he does. He came from a high spot in Hooli so he had a lot going for him. Makes sense he has these woman skills. He did put it aside to focus on Pied Piper.

Richard meets a nice beautiful coder chick and has to ruin it. He's modern day George Costanza

Jerry was the one always finding petty reasons to break up with chicks. C'mon man

They both did. Richard is more neurotic like George. Plus Jerry always breaks even. George loses even when he wins. C'mon man.

I'll concede this, but Jerry was more prolific in the petty break ups. George held down a GF and was engaged much longer than Jerry ever has been in a relationship

By far one of the funnier episodes in the series and they took a nice break from pied piper getting the shaft in some way.

This is the way they should go. Let Pied Piper the company win in the long run, kept the failures and comedy with the personal lives of the characters.

It gives you something to root for while the characters develop in the universe.

I don't think that's the paradigm, though. Hooli keeps snatching victory from the jaws of defeat (or declaring victory, anyway), while PP always seems to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory - despite having better "engineering" - they couldn't run a company with a company-running machine.

I did like the "pivot" where Richard, while not actually the CEO made a rockstar decision to cut costs and get back to basics. So, that evolution could be interesting.

But a show where Pied Piper is the billion dollar tech megacompany won't be very interesting or entertaining, IMHO. They can't "out Gavin" Gavin.

Most people seem to bitch about this aspect of the show but IMO it's where the show shines. The success, then misstep is kinda this show's DNA. That formula is what gave us two of the funniest scenes of the entire series thusfar. Mean Jerk Time and the SWOT analysis of the stunt guy.

Jared. Subtle humor is the best kind. That is why Erlich mostly sucks.

I think it plays off each other. Having the balance between different styles of humor is what makes this show so great.

If only this and the Brink were both running, HBO would be killing it in the comedy department.
