SV and Modern Family are the best comedy writing on television

Best comedy since Curb and early The Office for me.
I'm curious how many seasons we get of this show. Seems like it'd probably be a bad idea to to go longer than 4-5 seasons.

I'd say the best 2 are Jared and Gilfoil. This episode was annoying as shite with Richard, but the Dinesh awkward scene and Jared fricks were funny as hell.

You got a point. Erlich's been a real jerkoff WRT Bag Head's money. Spending probably a couple million on that stupid party was so disrepectful and wasteful. I'm quite sure it was inspired by Marissa Mayer and her multimillion dollar Gatsby and Wizard of Oz themed parties she threw at Yahoo.

Bighead wasn't being very responsible with his money prior to their "partnership" e.g. moving the pool twice
The show used Bachmann as a plot device to accelerate Bighead's lost fortune and made it very amusing to watch.

That and you have to keep in mind the show is a parody of Silicon Valley. These companies, although run by bright successful people, have a history of throwing tasteless, gauche and over the top galas just to show off their wealth.
This show, like every other comedy, is best when the humor is subtle. When they start getting into the ridiculous mode, like they do from time to time with Richard and Bachmann, they lose quite a bit.
