Did no one else catch them making a huge deal about his signature being different on every page and staying that'll never home up?

I'm sure that'll come back.

well bachman was taking pics of them signing, too

tying up all their assets means that big head's liabilities are likely bachman's as well. that's where i think they were foreshadowing with the next episode reference (about ejaculating his success over his opponents)

I was hoping the "this won't hold up" comment would get Erlich out of any problems

Hooli could go after Bachman personally and all his assets. Specifically, his ownership stake in PP.

Their "partnership" is void. I don't think you can have a binding contract when one party signed some of the documents using a nickname, or anything other than their legal name.

Or maybe because big head wasn't acting on behalf of Bachmanity, he is sued by Hooli, but all of his assets are safe inside the new company and because Bachman gets to choose the coin that settles the disputes, he chooses a trick coin and just starts spending the frick out of the money.

Sometimes, I think a great deal of this board just isn't smart enough for this show.

What? They arent using some innovative and brilliant way to get laughs. Sure some of the engineering jargon goes over some people's heads but that is very rare.

I can't believe I just noticed Pied Piper's lawyer that won the case against Hooli in season 2 was Lloyd Braun

Just watched a little while ago. I was all ready to get super pissed that Richard, fricking again, fricked himself and the whole company. But then they bailed them out with the internet scrubbing story.

And now Richard is CEO and something positive happened to them for a change.

There were some fantastic laughs in this one though. Jared was KILLING. He didn't know his birthday because Child Protection Services couldn't find his birth certificate. Estate sales are in his wheelhouse because he "has a lot of elderly friends."

Jared is so fricking money

I cited this one in another thread, but the obscurity of it and his delivery is so perfect it's ridiculous:
quote:

“What you did took incredible guts. The fact that it probably won’t make a difference makes it all the more meaningful. I saw this nature documentary where a bison fought a lion to protect the rest of the herd. And it was so moving. It didn’t work: The lion tore into the bison and laid waste to the herd. But what courage!”

He is killing it. Perfect combination of weird/pathetic/funny/optimism. Another wonderful Jared line from the other night:
quote:

You can’t help but be elegant. You’re like Audrey Hepburn

Small lines like that and the Django comment are why he is taking over the season for me. He's always been an outsider and trended too much into pathetic territory at first, but they are really letting him open up more this season and it works.

The only thing I had seen him in before was The Office, and he wasn't that funny in that.

I can't help but laugh just thinking about the Django unchained line.

His description of oceans eleven as a movie starring Julia Roberts and eleven criminals robbing a casino was perfect

its fricking annoying.
Their loserdom is part of the appeal. I think if they won all the time and succeeded, the show would be a lot less interesting and lose ratings.

Anyone remember Moonlighting? The appeal of the whole show was based on the characters' sexual tension and conflict. When they finally hooked up, people almost immediately quit watching the show.

Same goes here. When they finally win and become billionaires, no one will give a shite anymore.
