SIAP: Gina Carano wins. I bet Disney enters into settlement talks with her soon.

I must have missed the thread about this. Happened a week ago and is directly related to movies and TV.
First, Disney lost their attempt to have Gina Carano's case dismissed by the judge. Now, Disney has lot their request to halt discovery while that decision is being appealed. Discovery is worse than losing this case, from Disney's perspective. There is no chance they want discovery to happen. Will be interesting to see how far they'll have to go to settle to prevent discovery.

Good for her. It was complete and absolute bullshite what they did to her and how they handled that entire situation. I hope more shite comes out with how underhanded they treated her and it makes them look even more shitty.

Peeeedro Pascal posted far worse on social media and got celebrated by Disney proper & by their Marxist loving comrades.
Beep Bop Boop about to drop a hammer on that mouse.

I think the discovery is going to absolutely show collusion in her firing.
Disney cannot afford something like that coming out. Even if they were ultimately to win this lawsuit, that sort of publicity is not something Disney can afford right now.
I'm not sure where Disney finds these lawyers they keep hiring. I know they have enough money to pay for the best, but they just keep stacking losses at this point. They obviously never had a chance to win against Florida reorganizing the Central Florida Tourism District, they obviously never had a chance to dismiss this case and aren't likely to win it, some moron told them it was a good idea to state the family of a man who died on their property gave up their right to sue because he had a Disney+ free trial at one point in the past...it's shocking the level of incompetence on display by this company's lawyers.

I wish Musk would buy Disney. The meltdown would be hilarious

Gina Carano wins. . .
. . .the ability to file suit.
The case is only starting.

Nope, that was last week. This time, she won the ability to begin discovery while that decision is being appealed.
This is a much bigger deal than the decision you're referencing.

She gave a fantastic interview on the Shawn Ryan Podcast awhile back.

This is still not that big of a deal and fairly normal procedure. There was very little chance discovery would be delayed for an appeal like this. This appeal will be decided while all of the other discovery disputes are on appeal.

Who the frick cares about that talentless wet blanket.

They literally tried to get her to attend a 40-person struggle session on Zoom.
This is 1000% straight up Maoist Revolutionary tactics.
She's far stronger & smarter than the folks at Disney. They pretend to be pro women, and Gina is the archetype for who they pretend they're supporting.

I think Mao might be remembered differently if his version of "therapy" was an annoying conversation on Zoom.

WTH are you even saying? Are you really this dense? I said TACTIC, Does that not register with your smooth brain?
That's literally what happened to her. Because of her 'beep, bop, boop' tweet, she was told in no uncertain terms that she needed to beg for forgiveness for the unpardonable sin of mocking the they/them mafia.

This would have to be a 133 million dollar settlement to make the point.

This is going to sound crazy to you, but the word "tactic" is not inherently Maoist.

Also, i don't think she should have been fired for a really stupid tweet. But the holocaust and nazis are not part of the they/them mafia.
